We had Home Pro America build our new deck. As you can see from the photos below, the original deck was worn. The new deck is awesome! Mark was great to work with. He responded to calls and questions within 24 hours. We especially liked that they put together renderings of what the new deck would look like upon completion. The rendering below with the stairs on the left, was an original rendering and then we switched the stairs to the right, which you can see in the later rendering. But looking at the renderings and the final product and you can see how helpful it was to have those renderings. Having those made it an easy choice to choose Home Pro America. And then the follow-up, professionalism, and end product makes it easy to recommend Home Pro America.

We couldn't be happier with Home Pro America. From the initial consultation with Chad, communication and followups with project manager Matt, the entire project went smoothly and painlessly. We live in an old brick house, and the front porch collapsed. Home Pro America demolished the porch and hauled away the debris. Then they built us a beautiful cedar porch that actually improved the appearance of the house. Friends, family, neighbors and complete strangers have all told us how nice our porch looks. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Home Pro America was a great partner for my major remodeling project. The project consisted of my whole main floor - kitchen, bathroom, master bath, master bedroom, living room, office, guest bedroom. I also had my deck completely redone. I continued to live in the home on the lower level while the remodeling was done. Their staff was professional and supportive. Angie was awesome, walking me through the intimidating design process step-by-step with great ideas and advice. Jamie the project manager was always quick with solutions and problem solving. Andrew, who did a lot of the carpentry, was highly engaged and had some great ideas that really made a difference. Bridget kept me informed of the plan and I knew exactly what was happening each week. If you do a remodeling project there will be problems, no matter who you go with. What you want is a company that is going to make dealing with those problems a simple and straightforward process. That is the experience I had with Home Pro America. I highly recommend them and will absolutely use them again for any future needs I may have.

Home Pro removed our old dilapidated 3-season porch and built a new 4-season porch with a ceiling fan. All the people were great to work with and did a fantastically great job. We enjoyed working with the sales rep. The staff gave us beautiful color renderings to consider various design alternatives. They have a showroom where we could see samples of various siding and flooring alternatives to consider. Working with the sales team we were able to redesign features and select alternate alternate materials to pare costs by 33% from the initial estimate and still get a really professional beautiful and high quality porch. It's now the best looking and most energy efficient room in our 1968 vintage home which enhances future marketability when we sell.

The work crew was prompt, professional, personable and persistent until unexpected delays in materials delivery stretched the construction a few weeks (but, even then the interior was basically finished in just a little more than the five week quoted delivery, so we could begin to use it while the exterior was finished). We can't say enough about how great it was to work with Dave Morgan who was the project leader for the construction crew on site. He's a very intelligent, well-educated, articulate, detail-oriented skilled tradesman. He was great to work with and produced high quality results.

I should mention that whenever questions or issues arose about scheduling or work product that the work crew couldn't resolve, the relevant office personnel were easy to contact via e-mail or phone and promptly responded in a professional and friendly manner to our inquiries.

It is also worth noting that as part of our permit variance the city required us to move or remove an old storage shed because it was to close to the property line. Home Pro demolished it for us in a couple hours and put the debris in their dumpster and didn't even charge us for the work.

I would not hesitate to use Home Pro for our next project if we have occasion to do one.

We initially chose Home Pro for our deck build because our salesperson was able to help design our deck and advise us on the many options we had without being pushy. He came back with 3D renderings that displayed what our final build would look like, which really helped us feel comfortable moving forward. The handoff to the construction team went smoothly, and they started on time. Unfortunately, we hit several unexpected roadblocks during the build process that delayed the completion of the project for some time. However, the management team at Home Pro really came through to address the issues and make sure we felt taken care of, in the end we got our dream deck and could tell the entire team was committed to us 100% of the way. The team that finished the deck was stellar: very knowledgeable, professional, and polite, and promptly addressed any issues that arose. After experiencing their response to our situation, we are happy to recommend the team to others as we know we can trust them to make things right, they are genuinely invested in their customer's satisfaction.

I previously had a negative review regarding Home Pro America's work. I've tried to edit it , but I couldn't.

My deck was finished last summer; it was a shaky relationship to begin with, which had nothing to do with 98% of Home Pro America employees or their owner Steve.

Steve made it right. It's rare to do business with a perfect company; we all know that. Home Pro America is still a very good company. That stands by their work. Not only was Steve not aware of my issue, but he was just as shocked as I was when he found out; he couldn't wait to make it right.

Home Pro America made it a priority to make sure my deck build was handled with care and urgency. Most companies would have told me to kick rocks, but they took it personally.

I'm very happy with my build and how it was handled. My plan is to use them again for my front porch.

We contacted Home Pro to replace the deck on our house. Went from a 4 by 12 to a 12 by 12. Worked with Kelsey Knudson to design a deck within our budget. He designed a beautiful deck using quality materials which should last a long time. The work was completed by a very efficient and highly skilled team of Luke, Jeremy, and Daryl, and project manager Joe. We were both impressed on how the team worked together and the expert craftsmanship. Liz from the office scheduled everything. The deck was completed in less than 2 days, resulting in a beautiful deck that every one of our friends and relatives has had positive comments! The only negative in the process was the minimum communication as to when the project was starting and final wrap-up. Everything turned out very well however. Home Pro has our thanks and recommendation for excellent work!

Contracted Home Pro to replace my old worn down deck with a new one double the size of the previous deck and I am more than pleased with the overall outcome and process. From the very beginning Home Specialist Andrew Kurek provided me with the available options that would fit my ideas for the new deck, answered all follow up questions quickly, and clearly explained the pricing and how the process would work. Project Manager Dan Kehren took over from there and oversaw the building process. Dan ensured that all of my questions were addressed timely and that the final deck was completed exceeding all of my expectations. All communications I had with all Home Pro employees were professional and positive. Highly recommend that you use Home Pro for your next project.

Home Pro America is a great company to work with. My property experienced hail damage. Ben was wonderful and took care of me from start to finish of the project. Megan ensured the production activities flowed smoothly. Scott came onsite to ensure the work was completed properly. Brady replaced my gutters and was wonderful. The roofing crew was quick and thorough - very hard workers. I am grateful to the entire team for their efforts to complete my project on time and within the limits of my insurance compensation. Ben and the team even got me some upgrades that didn't end up costing me extra. I highly recommend Home Pro America. They are a pleasure to work with!

We are extremely happy with the customer service and the quality of work done on the replacement of our deck by Home Pro. The first time we met with Chad, he walked us through the entire process – from pulling permits to tear down to rebuild. He was very knowledgeable regarding the variety of material options we had and was able to answer all our questions. Chad communicated with us on a regular basis and kept us posted on the project. The crew who tore down and rebuilt were awesome too. Questions were answered, material was cleaned up and our backyard was free of nails and debris. We would recommend Home Pro to anyone and look forward to using them again on our next project!

Ben Torborg at Home Pro America provided me with several options for replacement of my cedar deck that was difficult to maintain and in constant need of repair. His customer service skills from our first meeting to the completion of the project was outstanding. I now have a beautiful, maintenance free deck with a fantastic warranty. My experience with Home Pro America was absolutely terrific. Chad carefully explained my options and worked closely with me, without pressure, to figure out what best met my needs. Angie coordinated appointments efficiently and was always helpful and pleasant on the phone. The work crew was incredible – they worked steadily from dawn until dusk, were polite and friendly, performed their work efficiently and professionally, did a superb job cleaning up, and completed the job (complex house and separate garage roofs) in an unbelievable day and a half. We wrote our contract in the fall and I was the first on the list for the spring – and the crew came even earlier than expected. I recommend this company without reservation – it is excellent!

Home Pro recently installed a composite deck and paver patio for us. Working with Dalton was the best part of the experience. He designed our deck and beautiful patio, and he saw it through to completion. We really felt like Dalton was as invested in the project as we were. My husband and I met with Ben Torborg of Home Pro America to learn about the opportunity to place a deck on our home. Ben arrived on time, prepared with photos and local research into code/liscensing and more. The highlight was being able to receive a quote at the time of meeting.
No 5-7-10 day wait. Ultimately we decided not to place a deck on our home, however, we may consider working with Home Pro America in the future.

Our salesman Kelsey was excellent at presenting us the options for our deck replacement. He also kept us informed of the project start date. Joe was great to work with also during the building of our deck. He too was responsive in completing the finishing touches to the project. I will call these folks first when we do our next project.

Meeting with Robert Skinner was so much fun. Robert has a wonderful demeanor, and explained the process of remodeling our kitchen in a easy to understand way. Angie Pederson was our designer. Angie is a lovely person. Angie helped us pick out a great cabinets, counter tops and flooring. I'm most happy with the paint color we chose.
Angie would give me choices, but never made me take something I didn't want. I liked that she gave us honest answers and guided us through the process in a professional way. Angie is a gem.
Bridget Hannigan was our project coordinator. Every Friday without fail Bridget would email us with a schedule of what would take place the following week. From demolition to the finished project. Bridget is very nice and was on top of everything. If we wanted to have something extra done or had any questions Bridget took care of it all. Great job.
Jamie Janski was in charge of the remodeling crew. He is such a friendly person. Jamie made sure everything got done the way we wanted. Jamie would answer any kind of question about construction that we had. Jamie was always around and was so wonderful about finishing touches. His attitude was always upbeat. We thought Jamie was terrific. We want to send a big thank you to members of the crew Josh, Josh and Andrew.

We needed to replace our crumbling concrete front steps to our south Minneapolis home and gave Home Pro America a call after seeing good reviews on HomeAdvisor. Peter came over to the house and was very personable and professional. We decided on a composite decking material for the steps. Peter explained everything thoroughly, including a detailed timeline. Pleased to report it all went like clockwork, from the concrete demo to placing the railings. Looks GREAT and is sturdy, sturdy, sturdy. Highly recommend Home Pro America!

I had Home Pro install a composite deck, with a bladder underneath (as the deck is over the garage) as well as the railing & spindles. They did a great job, were professional responded to issues timely and were on time. I am very pleased with their work & would hire them again!
