Melvindale Coney Island

Wonderful staff that work here. I usually go here on my lunch break and my food is always ready when I get there. The front counter cashier is so helpful and nice to the customers. It’s very refreshing. The food is just basic Coney Island food. I wouldn’t expect a 4 star meal for that price but it hits the spot for sure and there’s great value for the money. I would definitely recommend!

There aren't any bad Coneys in Detroit. Some are better than others and this one is one of the best. Bacon was crisp and hot. Sausage was fresh and hot. Potatoes were hot and crispy. Served fast. Even went back the next day. Excellent!!

Been going here for a very long time. Friendly, familiar employees and when it's packed they know how too handle it too make sure no customers are left unattended and the pace stays the same no matter how busy they are! Love it!

Love the pancakes and scrambled eggs, and the service is amazing. Definitely home town Coney island, everyone that I know that comes here has no complaints.

I absolutely love this place. My girlfriend and I go here all the time and get the breakfast. I highly suggest ordering the pancakes! Amazing

Good food! The waitress/cashier is super nice and really genuine. The guy who cooks on weekdays in the morning makes the best Turkey club. The omelettes are good too. They open at 6am, so it's the perfect place to grab a solid breakfast to start the day. They are pretty quick too, I always call my order in and it's ready when I get there...

The food here was always cooked just right. The service was always on a next level. As it was never just a service, you could feel like a family when you dine in. The owner, and hard workers behind the operations leave you feeling satisfied and full. It's a great place to unwind and drink some coffee, or just get yourself a big breakfast. Bring the family, your friends and have a great time.

I would often love to see this place updated, with larger bathrooms for the public, but it is a small diner. The food here is better and cheaper than McDonald's and Burger King. Often I've never waited more than 10 minutes for a large order to be completed. This is my goto, and I want everyone to make it theirs.
