Paula and Rachel were wonderful in helping us celebrate our aunts life. They were always accessible and helpful for anything we needed. JLPeters also helped us with our uncle and grandmother.

When my mom passed my family and I went there to make arrangements, the staff especially Paula were great very understanding. We had told them that my mom was a person that didn’t wear make up and never curled her hair we gave them a picture of her, when got there they did exactly what we had asked the time do she look like she did before she was sick. Paula did a wonderful job in getting what ever we needed. Thank you again Danny and the staff for everything you did for my family, in a time of sorrow you guys are the best.

Our experience with J.L. Peters couldn’t have been better during a very difficult time. Dan and Paula were so kind, compassionate and accommodating. They treated us like family and did whatever they could to make things easier for us. They helped with every detail and took time to explain everything so we didn’t feel overwhelmed. We are extremely grateful for them!

J.L. Peters buried my Dad in 1982 and when Mom passed in 2018, we did not hesitate to call on them again. Everything was well handled, beautiful, respectful, especially the owner and his staff, especially Paula. They called me back on weekends when I had a question. Don't hesitate!!

They was very pleasant to work. They went the extra mile to take care of our needs. Paula did a fantastic job downloading photos and putting the slide show together for us. I would recommend this funeral home for your needs

Out of grief and loss comes such love, support and comfort.
There is no other place anyone should go to when they are dealing with loss.
Dan, Lisa and Paula do not do this just as a job, they do what they have been put on this earth to do.
They do it with compassion, grace, love, heart filled human feelings.
My journey started April 20th, 2013 when my husband and I had to do the unthinkable and decide where and who would help us give our 25 year old son his final celebration of life.
I dont remember much about some moments as my head and heart were numb.
But I do remember the genuine love and kindness of Dan, Lisa and Paula.
47 days later...
I had to make a call to Paula on the evening of June 6th, crying and on the verge of breakdown, asking her to send someone to the hospital to take my husband to the funeral home.
Silence on that phone for a moment, then the most loving tone of a voice telling me and agreeing with me that this cant be happening.
That moment was not just me calling a funeral home to come and get my husband it was a moment of genuine concern, compassion and heartbreak in her voice.
That moment that no one else could do anything. That moment that wasn't hesitant, it was immediate. Within an hour a young man came to the hospital the sweetest boy. He put his hand on my shoulder and had told me how sorry he was. He was a friend of my son's when they went to school and that he would take care of his friends dad and get him to the funeral home with the upmost respect and love.
These three individuals and that young man have gotten me through the most horrific time in my life. Not only emotionally but financially.
Though six years have past these compassionate, loving human beings hold a very special place in my heart and forever will.
This part of life and death is unbearable and from the bottom of my heart there is no other "home" to call then jlpeters.
Yes my review is long but it is truly the only review you will ever need to read to know where you need to go.

JL Peters funeral home went out of their way to make everything was just right during my Grandpa’s funeral. We couldn’t have been more pleased! The staff was so kind and considerate.

If I could give 10 stars I would. They make the process as easy and pleasant as possible. From their hands on help to amazing catering. They take care of everything at the most difficult time. I wouldn't go anywhere else when this need arises. The staff is so warm and caring, a very nice, clean and up to date establishment.

J. L. Peters funeral home has been our family funeral home as far back as i can remember, for both my mother and my father's side of our family. They were such a help to me personally with my mother, my father, and my husband.

Dan and Paula are professional, caring and compassionate. Paula was so kind and easy to work with on the video compilation. I am so very grateful.
