Lovely layout and very comfortable seating. A very spacious area, great for a relaxing night with friends. Full menu and their kitchen stays open late. Food is very flavorful and is served in large portions, you will definitely get your money’s worth. Staff if very sweet and attentive. Would definitely recommend this place.

Updated review: so I am back in Dearborn after 5 years and what can I say .. the food is amazing fresh and tasted wonderfull and the cocktail was great. Better than any restaurant I've had.. chapeau haut for the cook.

Fantastic food and service. I love getting the chicken Quesadilla as you see in the picture. Good seating for family n friends. Prices are very reasonable along with fresh halal food. Hard to beat. Great place to visit if you're in town visiting.

Friendly service and very clean. Loved the hookha and chicken sandwich. As well as the whole pit of tea and mint.

I can't say enough great things about Lava Java Cafe. I've been through all the hookah bars in Dearborn, but this is the only lounge I regularly visit. Hookahs are always on point, large food and drink menu, and great service. Also, plenty of large TVs all around the lounge so its a great place to watch sporting events and UFC fights. Wally, the owner, is always around, so if anything isn't up to par, he always takes care of things for us. Without hesitation, 5 stars! This place never disappoints!

Lava Java had a great space available for people to come and enjoy the hookah. They were even kind enough to provide us with two decks of cards so we could play. All in all, amazing hookah, and great music.

We came in on Saturday 5/8/2021, we were a large group of 7. Being it was a Saturday night we were having a hard time getting a place to be able to seat us in a timely manner. Owner walked up and seated us right away! The owner literally made the night the best. Making sure we were taken care of and had everything we needed in a very professional fashion. Loved this place and will for sure be back!

The best hookahs around! Service is great. Every time I’ve been at this hookah lounge they’ve treated my friends & I nothing less than family. The atmosphere is great for hanging out with a group of friends on the weekend or grabbing a hookah & studying during the week. Food, hookah & service deserve more than 5 stars!:)

Nice clean place. Waitresses are kind and great service. Kufta yummy! Chicken with mushrooms was really good. I loved the avacado smoothie with pistachios. All the other smoothies taste like sugar and water too sweet. I didn't like the strawberry banana or mango smoothies, Just syrup and color.
