The Taco Stand Taqueria

We came for the first time and got the chicken tacos and the shrimp tacos. The shrimp ones were amazing! Suuuper flavorful. Honestly the chicken ones were kinda bland and dry like other reviewers said, but not terrible.. but regardless, we love this place and will definitely be back for more shrimp tacos and I’ll try the al pastor tacos next time instead of chicken 😋 great bang for your buck.

Ohh my this place is dope! Reminds me of the taco trucks back in Texas. I ordered the street torta carne asada and a Al pastore quesadilla.
Delicious. Also grabbed some guacamole and they give you a ton of sauces. The orange one is chipotle sour cream. You gotta try this place

First time here. Ordered the steak bowl and chips and guacamole. The guacamole was very good and large sized. The steak bowl was fantastic. Very large sized for the money and the flavors were great. Loved the hot sauce also. I’ll definitely go back there soon. Wish I took a pic of the bowl. It looked as good as it tasted.

The Taco Stand was my happy accident. I was looking for something nearby, so naturally, I turned to Google. I am so glad I gave it a try. It is inexpensive and yummy. Since discovering this place, I've been twice!! If you are in the mood for Mexican, THIS is your spot!!!

Decided to order from here on a whim. We live nearby but haven't tried. We weren't disappointed. All 5 members of my family were happy with the food. We got an assortment of tacos. We'll definitely be getting this again in the future!

Today, I had the pleasure of visiting The Taco Stand Taqueria, a local favorite that left a lasting impression with its delicious and authentic Mexican cuisine.

What caught my attention was their mouthwatering asada fries and tacos. The asada fries were a delightful medley of crispy fries, succulent carne asada, melted cheese, and tantalizing toppings, providing a satisfying combination of textures and flavors. The tacos, on the other hand, showcased perfectly seasoned meat nestled within warm, tender tortillas, offering a taste of Mexico right here in Metro Detroit.

Went here days ago after handling some business. Never been to this side of Allen Park before so that was cool to see more of this area. Friendly environment, very quick service, and great food! Takes me back to the days when I lived in Victorville, CA. I will definitely be back at this restaurant.

Come here at least 4 times a week. Now gonna slow it down. The portions are smaller. The lack of work ethic is following. Didn't get any chips with my taco bowl or sour cream.the queso is either to watery or something oldish. Depending on the day I guess. Now all of a sudden got green beans in my bowl. First peas then carrots now green beans. Always something off on this place and it bothers me. Ust to be my go to to spot. Now it's just my only choice spot .

I love this place today was our 1st time going. We had steak tacos, Carne asada fries and the California burrito. Loved every bit of it. The prices are very reasonable go check them out! WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK! WORTH THE DRIVE! Food is still good and have been coming back and sending people there every since I first went.

Been living one block away from this place for four years and just tried it for the first time today. What a great little place, cool atmosphere, great food, good prices. Wish I had tried it sooner.

Great tasting tacos with friendly service! Good variety of meats available and portions are good. Prices are reasonable, and the facility is clean. Definitely worth a visit!

Delicious! Food was hot and fresh when they called my name to pick up my order. The burritos and loaded fries portions are HUGE, bring your appetite.

Love love love this place! Went for my first time and will definitely be back! The staff was friendly and quick. They accept tap to pay which is great! Their menu is simple but oh so many delicious items. I got 3 tacos de asada and my fiancé got a torta de asada, amazing!! You can't beat the price either, affordable and delicious! Highly recommend!!

Tacos were outstanding— particularly the pollo. We also had the chorizo fries and they were amazing. The only downside was this location didn’t have a bathroom.

I’ve only ever had takeout from here so I can’t rate the interior/service, but wow it’s seriously the best most flavorful mexican food i’ve ever had. The carne asada loaded fries are impossible to not devour. And I had a steak quesadilla which was pretty good too. I’ll take photos next time before digging in 😅

Great food, good service, reasonable prices. Parking lot can get full but there is street parking close by.

Awesome tacos. I am Mexican and I certify this as authentic Mexican Tacos. Not Texmex or American Tacos. Would come back for sure. Try their Quesadillas with Asada meat. Great Salsas and Mexican Sodas as well.
