Holy Cross Cemetery

Lots of very Regal looking headstones and dedication plagues in the cemetery. Turns out my mom has her parents and grandparents buried here.

Been coming here since 1970. My family is here. The staff is wonderful! ❤
You can request your family headstones be lifted. I request this every 5 years.

We went to Wooddruffs in Wyandotte Mi then Bought an large four foot Stone for The Two Parents they called Today said it was in
MAN IT LOOKS GOOD THUMBS UP

My uncle is there. Was glad to find him my dad's older brother. Place is nice but saw so much vandalism. So darn bad.àà

Some of my family is there, so we visit it. It's beautiful, peaceful and very serene.

I love this cemetery. I have wanted to locate my uncle's tombstone for two years. The office staff at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, from where the maintenance workers for Holy Cross are assigned, have shown little regard to my requests over these two years. My 'work orders' were 'lost'. They couldn't give me a map I needed showing the lot and grave location to find a stone buried in the ground for 100 years. They told me repeatedly maintenance people were rarely there. I contacted Sylvia M, an assistant to the bishop. Thanks to her intercession, I was finally able to meet two great maintenance men at the cemetery; unfortunately there was no headstone to be found, but now I know where my uncle's grave is. Good luck getting help from the staff at OLOH Cemetery! (My uncle will have a headstone soon.)

No help for over a year trying to find my baby aunts grave from 1943. She had a headstone but must be under the grass! Need to hire more maintenance personnel or even college students summer jobs to raise the buried headstones! I'll do it if the office can Mark the grave!
