Lakeville Water Billing

Extremely poor customer service and online billing process is a nightmare. I've had a few issues but most recently was charged $24 in late charges due to having to report a lost credit card. I updated new auto pay information and they confirmed that was all updated and in place on the due date yet for some reason the payment was not processed. I did not receive any notifications until 3 months later of course letting me know they had added $24 in late charges. The system is set up to conveniently work in their favor to maximize charges even when everything I needed to do was complete and on time. I was hung up on by customer service and when a supervisor called me back later confirmed nothing they can do. I am fine with this now and told them if $24 dollars in late charges, through no fault of my own, was worth a 1 star review to them, then I hope they enjoy the extra money and I hope as many customers of theirs as possible view this cautionary review. Of course not much you can do if you live in Lakeville and need water, but at the very least watch your account closely each month and don't assume the auto bill process and PSN will work as you would expect.
