Ace Hardware & Paint

I received a Big Green Egg from Ace as a gift and needed to file a warranty for a broken part. I didn't have a copy of the invoice but Mardell worked SO HARD to help me I couldn't believe the effort she was putting in. When I finally got all my ducks in a row and sent her the information she needed to file the claim, she came in on a weekend just to get it done. Thank you, Mardell, for one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had!

I needed to buy some parts and had no idea of hardware. I had a few pictures and pipe measurements. The staff members are very helpful, they really get all the job done in less than 5 minutes by helping me to get all required parts for my sprinkler winterization project.

I’m new to the Lakeville area and was shocked at how good the customer service was here. This very young boy helped me get exactly what I needed while being respectful and patient of my lack of knowledge. He also treated me like regular customer even though there was only 5 minutes left until closing. (I think his name was Jack or Jackson?) At the register the cashier started a conversation with me like I had known them for years (I didn’t catch their name but they were very friendly and polite). It’s very clean and I saw them taking care of the store when it was shutting down. Overall a great experience and I will definitely be coming back!

Jeremy was very helpful in finding me a bolt and nut I needed replaced. He made sure to welcome and speak to each customer that walked by him as well. This is getting rarer and rarer in the retail world. Please recognize him in front of your whole team.

Very helpful staff. They go out of their way to help you find what you need. Have a shop in store too and can cut and adjust things for you. Best hardware store experience.

I live in St Paul and I was on a journey to find a specific snow blower. After going to several stores I somehow ended up at this Ace in Lakeville. And I’m extremely happy that I did. The first person to help did everything to find that certain model. He finally found it and said they could even deliver it to me today. The delivery person showed me how to start it and helped me put it in my garage. Everyone that helped me was so nice and gave me tips on how to care for my snowblower. Also it was the nicest Ace I’ve ever been at. It was clean and organized and there was space to move around. I’ll be back to this location. It was worth the drive.

Joe and the entire team at Ace Hardware in downtown Lakeville were great to work with. We purchased an EGO 2 stage snow blower and Joe was very knowledgeable and made the entire purchase experience a pleasant one. I would not hesitate to recommend Ace Hardware to anyone!

Ace is the place for me. Ace never fails me. When I run out of nails or need an extra crock to can pickles Ace has it. And if you need help loading something someone will help you.

Little known secret, this Ace has an incredibly large grilling and smoking section. TONS and I mean TONS of choices for pellets, spices and sauces. Probably one of the largest in the cities.

Picked up my order that was placed online. Order was filled correctly. I misread the description for some pvc pipe, thought it was 10 inches and it was 10 feet! I could use the extra, so asked if they could cut it in half to fit in my car. They were happy to do so. Got the rest of my stuff and was out in no time. Great experience! Very helpful staff!

Service here is excellent. I returned a saw I bought but realized it was the wrong size and unfortunately no longer had my receipt. The GM Jim Sullivan helped me exchange it for the right saw and credit the rest on my card. Was all fast and easy.

Visited to look at grills. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. He gave me a lot to think about.

The staff is professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful. They carry a wide assortment of hardware. Very clean.

Very outgoing well-mannered staff. They help you find everything you need if they have it. They sharpen lawn mower blade saw blades knives anything you can think of they can make keys they also make some great paint if you have any hardware needs as a jest point is cuz it is the helpful place

I was in search of a very random funnel, the whole crew helped out, and we finally found one that'd work! I was so very impressed with their team work, and how they truly made me feel right at home, despite it being my first time in. I'll definitely be back and greatly appreciate their friendly, helpful atmosphere!

Someone is always there to greet you and offer help! Which is great! Been to other store's and seem to have to search for an employee to ask questions! Not here! Customer service is great!

This is the reason I don’t go to big box stores. I have been frequenting this ace for about two years. Two example of what I love about them. When I bought a snowblower they talked me out of the more expensive electric start model because the regular was just as good. Another time I was about to buy a dethatching blade for my push mower when one of their mechanics stopped me to stay they ruin engines. Whomever the owner is, your staff deserves a huge raise

I love this place. Full of people that can answer questions about what you are looking for. Not like HD where I have to locate a gentleman named Bob several islands down to only find out they don't stock it.

While the big box stores have their place, it's hard to beat a neighborhood hardware store for those quick stops to keep your home project moving. I have enjoyed most of my Ace experiences, and this one in Lakeville is one of the best. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable, the selection is larger than other Ace stores, and the parking is very convenient.

One of the better Ace Hardware Stores. Very helpful, and have answered every questions, and found every weird little part I've gone there for. My wife loves their little paint sales.
