This place is amazing. The shoes are well worth the money. And the staff is incredible. Very friendly. They know there product. Top notch service. I’d recommend them to anybody. The service they provide is worth the money alone. Can’t say enough good things about this store.

Well what more to say than red wing boots. Always a quality product but this time my husband who has foot trouble went for the additional $70 inserts. I love that they will return it all I believe within 90 days if he doesn't like them (awesome because it was $330) but if it works out it'll be life changing and priceless . I'll update. Thanks

I was assisted by Rob (manager) with my first purchase of Red Wing boots. He was very informative about the fit, the construction, and the warranty of my new boots. He explained the cleaning and conditioning process. The store reminded me of the family owned shoe stores when I was younger. What a first class operation! I will treasure my boots and hope they last for many years . . . but I will be back for many more! Thanks again!

Came in for a price check expecting to see price tags of 200 dollars or more for the boots with safety toe and metatarsels that I wanted, and walked out with a new pair of boots for around 150 out the door with a free extra pair of laces. They also told me they do free stitch repair, eyelet repair, lace replacement, and once a month conditioning on the boots. Very comfortable and great ankle support which is my number one concern in work boots.

I was putting off getting work boots for quite some time, simply because of the fact that I wasn’t very knowledgeable in the boots department. With every recommendation pointing me to red wing I decided to stop in after work one day. I was met with some of the best customer service and answers for every single question that I had. Dakota helped me find the exact type of boot I was looking for. The information he was able to provide me for 11 different pairs of boots that I was interested in and trying on and pointing out the differences between steel/aluminum/nonmetal boots along with a wide selection of styles and everything boot related allowed me to walk out with a new and comfortable pair of work boots that I can’t wait to break in. I had only heard great things about red wing and how they will really take care of you and wow, they really do go above and beyond. They offer a number of services after your purchase that really make buying from them special, knowing that if I have any issues at all I can take them in and they will take care of me. I’m happy to be joining the people who recommended me here in this work boot family, and I too will now always recommend Red Wing to everyone looking for a pair of work boots. Thank you!!

The only boots I'll wear for work. Long lasting and very comfortable.
Can be a bit pricey. Example, my boots are $379.99
But they are what Red Wing claims are their "Cadillac" of boots.

Heather was amazing! I spent about an hour trying to decide between sizes for my steel-toed work boots. Heather was very kind, helpful, patient, and a pleasure to talk with! She offered excellent advice on choosing the best boots for me, and she assured me that I could bring back the boots within 30 days if I still needed help. I ended up going home with a pair of boots that I am obsessed with! I wear them everyday at work at the airport and my feet are always comfortable, warm and protected. I went in with ariat boots and came out with some amazingly comfortable Irish setters!!!! Best boots I ever bought!!! And Paige was absolutely wonderful and knowledgeable about the boots that I wanted to try! Great customer service from her!!!! I will be back!!!

My experience was very well sales associate greeted me as I entered help me find the proper boot I was looking for help me take off my shoes and put on the boot for fitting The boots fit perfect he rang me up and oiled my boots And then he kindly asked me if there was anything else I needed and/or was looking for I said no thank you have a nice day

Returned here for my 3rd set of boots in 11 years.

Its always been a struggle finding boots that are wide enough, and are comfortable. Well, at most places that is a problem. Here, never a problem.

I was helped by Dakotah today and that young guy is very good at his job. I wouldn't expect that from such a young man, with presumably limited experience, well, he crushed it. He brought out a few pair that he thought would work, and the first pair I tried on, were the right ones. I tried the others on but his first recommendation hit the mark.

If you need well built, comfortable and durable boots, look no further than Red Wing. If you are anywhere near downriver in the Detroit area, go to this store for great service, and ask for Dakotah when you arrive.

The shoe I wanted was not In Stock on the truck bur the salesman checked with the store and found a pair for me. Great service.

Stopped in here with my wife to get her some work shoes.

Unlike the experience of other reviewers, we were greeted immediately upon entering the store, as was everyone else who came in during the time we were there.

The sales staff was very helpful, knowledgeable and very thorough in getting my wife what she needed.

I highly recommend this store if you need to shop for work boots and shoes.
