Cederview has been a part of my family as far back when Dr Mitchell was there. I worked there for a couple years when they had boarding.
My favorite job I had!!

They have always been kind and taken good care of my pups. I like all the Drs I have seen.
Ann Marie and I have a special bond as she saved my Chihuahua Bella from a hard fall and broke her own ankle instead😉😞😁😍😍😍. Thank you Ann Marie. Bella has now past as have Boe and Charlie. Pride and Liberty are still with us and I will continue at Cederview.

Both my dogs are seen at VCA. My girl has a lot of health issues and we kept seeing vets who ignored our concerns. VCA in Apple Valley has honestly saved her life, or at least extended it in amazing ways. They listened to us and they treat my dogs so so well. We even brought my cousin’s dog for a second opinion, after he started having kidney issues. They did actual tests and came back with answers, because they listened to us. And now he’s doing so so much better.

I just called and spoke to the receptionist, Emily. Emily was kind, patient and an excellent listener while I tearfully explained the odd behaviors displayed by my cat and the challenges I was having getting her in to the clinic.

Freyja, my tabby, is my everything. She is my therapy cat who has helped me through tremendous amounts of stress the past few years. We are both very independent and dominant females yet we function together often times so when Emily came back to me with a solution she and the vet had come up with, I was grateful. I know this type of care is very rare and I am blessed to have used this clinic for my cats Dr. needs over the past year! I highly recommend them!

We recently switched to this vet office for my 2 cats and we have nothing but great things to say! All of the vets, vet techs, etc are amazing and all so kind. They communicate everything well, and truly seem to care about my pets just as much as I do. It’s so refreshing given our old vet didn’t care about my pets, only my money.

Would recommend this vet to everyone! They’re truly the best!!

We have multiple animals with a lot of various health issues. They have always been great and prompt getting us in, even in emergency situations. Francesca, our vet, has literally been the best. She's very compassionate, explains things well and easy to understand, friendly, and gets the job done. Our needy pets thank you. We really appreciate everyone at VCA.

I have been going to cedarview animal hospital since early eighties. Dr Stephen Mitchell has retired now and I wasn't quite sure how the new vet would be. With covid I was not able to meet her in person because they have the drive-by drop off for my dog to see the vet. Dr Jessica Hovet seemed very pleasant when I spoke to her on the phone about Molly. Molly does have a UTI so she's on a prescription for two weeks we will just have to see how that goes. I still highly recommend cedarview animal hospital. But I do miss Dr Steve.

We have been bringing our dog, Rio, here for 2 years now, since she was a puppy. Everyone has been so kind when we are there, and they work well with our dog. They are always able to answer our questions and explain their reasoning behind their action plan. I trust that my dog is getting the best care there. They are also upfront about the costs associated with the visit and don’t pressure you to add on services that aren’t needed. The receptionist Glenda is always so friendly when you walk in the door. We saw Barbra Buman as our veterinarian this last time we went and she was SO nice! Highly recommend!

We have been with Dr. Melbo at Cedar View for 20 years. We have had 4 dogs under her care. She’s gentle, kind, very knowledgeable, and dedicated to animals.

I've been coming here for a couple years now. My one dog Waylon like many dogs gets stressed going to the Vet. My first visit was during the beginning of Covid and I remember making the statement that since this was his first visit I'd like to be present as I felt I could keep my dog calm better, a request that was previously turned down by my dogs previous vet. At the time they had an outdoor fenced in area set up for these requests. I muzzled my dog for everyone's safety and fed him treats while the vets did their business. I just had Waylon back to update his shots again and this time sent him to the back room on his own. Staff always does a great job with him and my other dog Caesar. Only vet I'll use.

I absolutely love this clinic. I have brought 4 dogs here and they are always extremely helpful. I recently moved over 30 minutes away and was so disappointed in the clinics in my area, that I returned. They always remember my dogs when they hear their names. I feel special whenever I call the clinic even though I know they see hundreds of other animals that are just as important. I can't imagine going anywhere else now! Everyone at the clinic is knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful! Dr Yu and Glenda make every interaction the best it can be!

Everyone here at VCA Apple Valley are so kind considerate of both my furry babies and myself.
They go out of their way to help anyway they can.
Glenda is very sweet and so helpful.
Dr. Buman Amazing the vet techs were also very good at there job .
Thanks all of you who helped Tanner today!! They even asked if they could take Tanner outside for me so he could go to the bathroom , Super sweet.

So far I have not had much contact with this clinic myself. But my girlfriend brought our puppies in and said everything went great and that we should provide a fecal sample before the 2nd round of shots for them. So I was for some reason entrusted with this task to bring the samples in and after stretching work as long as I did, speeding to get there before close, anticipating either nobody to be there or to be turned away for a last minute drop-off (such as the burnsville cvs did 10 minutes before close for picking up medications that went through good rx), I was not expecting to be there in time but wanted to give it a shot anyway. I arrived at 6pm sharp (closing time). Staci was coming up to lock the doors as I arrived and she put a, "did you really just get here? You son-of-a-gun get on in here" kind of smile on her face and took my samples. The staff behind the scenes actually had a laugh in the background and I can honestly say the whole experience, albeit not anything super crazy, was a memorable and positive enough one that I will bring my animals here for years to come knowing that the staff is kind, understanding, and has a great sense of humor.
Kudos to you guys down there at VCA Cedar View. You guys are awesome

Friendly, helpfull and understanding. They go above and beyond.

Very caring staff...I recently spent many days in a row bringing my pup in for fluids. They were kind, concerned, loving and made his transition very bearable. Many of the vet assistants would pop in to our room to say hi and give us support during our journey.

We have been bringing our dogs (children) to VCA for about 15 years now. We had been to other clinics that mussled our dogs upon entry. We had been told our dogs were "red flagged" not for any pitictular reason other than they big dogs. The first time we brought our dog Deigo to VCA , we saw Dr. Beauman. She was unlike any vet we ever saw before! She came in the room, sat down on the floor and talked with us about our dog ( who was hiding at the time behind me, growling) Dr. Beauman just kept talking, not even trying to acknowledge our dog. Not 5 minutes into our appointment, our dog came out and sniffed her, sitting down next to her! 15 years later, after going through bone cancer (and losing our beloved Deigo) going through cancer and surgery twice with our other Dog Louie and losing the love of my life DITTI ( English Bulldog) to old age, we continue coming to this wonderful clinic! We currently have an australian shepherd, Blu who is 8. A almost 1 year old English Bulldog, Bella and our Big girl, Addie, 110lb Antonia Shepherd. Addie has sufferd much in her 3 years, but with the help of VCA, she continues to be happy and healthy. Addie lost her left rear leg about a yeAr and half ago now. She is terrified of clinics and vets. Very understandable. She came down with a horrible ear infection a couple of months ago and we were unable to treat her at home properly due to her pain and her size. Today the staff at VCA came through once again and were able to help Addie.
Glenda...YOU are a rock star! Anne Marie and Ashley, you were awesome today! Sharon, you and your deacation to animals is inspiring! Dr. Schmidt...I can't thank you enough for all your hard work and dedication to my little girl! I am so glad you joined this practice and I can't express my gratitude for all you have done for Addie. She is a very special needs dog and you treat her with so much love and compassion. Thanks to everyone at VCA! We will never bring our dogs elsewhere! You are the BEST!

Very caring staff. My 15 year old Yorkie was in pain. I took her there and they examined her and told me her leg was swollen and would most likely have to be amputated. I didn't want her to suffer anymore than she already was so I decided she would have to be put down. One of the worse decisions I've ever had to make. My heart was broken into a million pieces. I know she was old and just wasn't able to go on much longer. The staff there comforted me and I appreciate that. I'm still crying. I miss my doggie so much. Thanks for making her comfortable in her last moments

I have been bringing my cat(s) to Cedarview for over 30 years and have been so pleased with their care and compassion. Two weeks ago I had a medical emergency with my senior girl Lilly. I can’t say enough about the care Dr. Yu and her staff provided. Dr. Yu Called me everyday for over a week to check on Lilly to see if she was improving and that her meds were working. What more can someone with a four legged child could ask? I thoroughly recommend Cedarview Animal Hospital and their staff. ~ mj

We had a medical emergency with our cat Miss Kitty
VCA Cedarview Animal Hospital made it so we could bring her in right away. The care she received was loving and warm. The Doctor gave us all of the options for her medical emergency, and the prognosis within a prompt matter of time.
All of these factors allowed for us to feel more at peace with a heart wrenching decision.

Best hospital in this area! My 14 year old senior dog has been coming to this hospital for past 3-4 years. He is usually very anxious and in other hospitals it was always a bad experience for him, however here at VCA he has become super comfortable with his regular doctor and the technicians!
