Country Prime Time Bar & Grill

Small roadside bar. No great shakes for food but the tacos were tasty and the fries were hot. Beer was cold and the dart board was open. Pretty sure the local who's who is the most of the time.

What a fun place, we stopped in for a night cap and it was such a fun crowd. The bartender made me a colorado bulldog and used Bailey's instead of cream! It was awesome!

Made from scratch home cooking - always feel welcome with their patrons and staff!

Great small town place, friendly people and good service. Kinda a hidden gem and must stop!

I found myself here on a Friday night.... walking in I wasn't sure what to expect, but, I soon ended up feeling right at home, everyone there was so very friendly. I was even able to snap a picture of Barney - who was the first person to talk to me. I ended up having a wonderful time and plan to return... plus, I have 2 free drink tokens! The food smelled awesome and I am definitely going to eat there next time.

This place is absolutely incredible; genuine people, great service and on a night when extenuating circumstances should have caused me to be sad/upset, I found myself among (new) friends, having fun!

If you're a decent person, appreciate friendly service and want to be surrounded by new friends... this is the place to be!

Ring the bell at the bar, so, they know you're there! (wink)

Stopped here after work one night.

Happened to be Monday Burger Night. Great deal! $7.95 includes a burger with 3 toppings and fries! It was cooked and seasoned well and was delicious!

Then my girlfriend and I played pool, darts, and they had a music machine we played during our stay as well! It was so much fun!

Bartender was friendly and talkative as well.
Great little low key spot.

Nice staff, good food, hot fresh .an got my order right.when i requested a thick raw slice of onion on my burger. the kid cooking did it very well an i got a thick slice,thanks.oh an breakfast is good, catch it when jackie is cooking she is the best

Tonight we stopped. The waitress/bartender was busy, so we waited. When she finally took our order it was 9:02. The cook/manager came out and called us liars when we said we were there at 8:45. Never going there again and we spent about $50 bucks every couple of days plus meals. That's to bad for them.

Great food, great service. Daily specials are amazing. We were out of state for a job and the bartenders and locals made us feel at home. Great atmosphere. Would definetely go out of my way to stop here.

Yes.... Shame on me! It's been at least a couple of years since I've set foot in the CPT.
If you grew up around here, like me, everyone knows of this little hole-in-the-wall place serving mostly scratch made foods from a tiny kitchen that might hold the capacity of 2 cooks!
Your orders are usually taken by the bartender, the only "wait staff" on the floor. She's quick, neatly hand writing your tab on a servers tablet which is then torn off and placed with the others lined up on the bar counter. The same thing applies to those of us who choose to sit at the well worn, good sized horse shoe shaped laminate bar. It's a very friendly place. When my daughter & I arrived last night the bartender in a loud voice from behind the bar asked where we wanted to sit. I said, "the bar?" she took a quick glance around, asked a gentleman if there was room for 2 over by him and then motioned for us to come on around. Another younger gentleman gave up his bar stool to me and found another as he made room too. The Lydianites (I think that's their nickname?) as the locals are called seem to welcome you in, even if now I'm considered a stranger. We thanked them both!
Anyway the Country Prime Time usually offers "Daily Lunch Specials" and "Dinner Specials"... Order it! Their specials never disappoint! Lots of good home cooked food that'll fill you up fast.
My daughter & I came to settle her "CPT Taco Fix!" LOL! Years ago I used to take all three of my kids here regularly for ~Taco Wednesday~ Dinner. Yes, that's when Jim (the owner then) used to have his weekly taco nights! I think back then the soft shelled tacos were a $1.00 each, now they're $2.00 each, still as loaded & delicious as they are today only now served on Tuesday Nights!
The service we received was like everyone elses, no favorites, yet prompt! I had a beer and my daughter, who's 21 still ordered her favorite drink from here - A Shirley Temple aka Kiddie Cocktail! Drink prices here are very reasonable and they even sell Off Sale!!
I will say if you don't want to deal with the happy hour/local crowd come around 7pm during the weekdays. Personally we don't care, we had fun, talked to some wonderful people and ate some amazing tacos!
Next time CPT I won't wait a couple of years before I drop by again! You know that song Toby Keith used to sing - "I Love This Bar." I'll be stopping back soon!

Great food and great place for brunch and a beer (or bloody). Friendly regulars, rock bottom prices, big pours and portions. It can be easy to miss driving by, but well worth finding.

Me and a buddy of mine from Georgia go here almost daily for lunch. Great people and prices, and everything we've ever eaten here was awesome. You'll always leave full!

Great Staff. Neighborhood bar that welcomes newbies. "Regulars" are happy to share their produce from their Farms. Even a guy that shares great pickles

Nice little place to visit and have a drink and hangout with friends and family,it has a great atmosphere and great people to meet. I would recommend it to everyone.

If you are looking for a true dive bar with great food and drinks that are cheap, this is the place. Their specials are a terrific deal.
