This food was delicious! We ordered chicken egg foo yong, chicken with cabbage, lemon chicken and chicken lo mein. The flavor of the food was amazing. The chicken with cabbage had nice heat to it. Not too spicy - just enough. The lemon chicken is the best I've had. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone!

We always have like this place and this time the food we got was the best it's ever been! The chicken wings are everything you would want and the pork fried rice is great. The dumplings are good and the only negative is the dumpling sauce. It's like a sugary soy sauce. I made my own though soy,vinegar, sesame oil and some red pepper flakes. It really made those dumplings pop. Great job SCI2. Keep it up.

Ordered takeout. Got the #10 combo plate and appetizer sample plate. Delicious, great quantity for price. Abel to get two filing meals from combo plate. Only negative is they do not accept cash.

Their food is fabulous. A variety of choices. Taste fresh in my opinion, not overcooked, in your order you get a lot of food.

Chow mein,egg foo young,sweet and sour pork,fried rice, egg rolls and cream cheese wonton were all the best I've tasted in a long time we'll go back absolutely!!! Tried all of the above plus sweet and sour chicken and chicken lo mein everything was fantastic, big portions at a reasonable price.

Some of my very first memories of going out to eat were at this place. They have been around for a long time. The family who runs it are all amazing people. When my grandmother was sick they delivered food for her, This was back before they did delivery. The food is Awesome and the quantity that you get for the price is a win. We are going to order Dinner here tonight for mothers day celebrations. Please support this delicious local bussiness.

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant I moved away and was in the area. They do online and phone ordering and pickup/take out, which is because of the pandemic. It's efficient and everyone working there is a very sweet family. My favorite and consistently chosen meal is the combo of fried rice, egg fu young, and sweet and sour chicken [which I choose instead of pork]. Their wontons are very sweet. I'm looking forward to when their buffet opens again - it allows you to try everything! But you can't go wrong here if you are looking for good Chinese American take out!

1st time ordering and from Doordash. We got the Kung pao chicken(a little spicey than expected but it was delicious) , steamed dumplings(twice the size of my normal spot), Shrimp fried rice and Teriyaki chicken(very like the ones I make at home). The portions are larger than my normal spot, not as bland as my normal spot. Definitely got more bang for my buck.
I will definitely be ordering again and recommend South China Island Inn ll. South China Island Inn ll has stolen a new customer from a mediocre Chinese restaurant and I'm glad I found them!

Son had me meet him there...the Dining Room had closed before our party of four arrived...but they welcomed us to dine there anyway. We had EXCELLENT service...very attentive to EVERYTHING! The food was very good & the portions quite generous. All in all a good dining experience was had by all & we all had a take home bag as well.

Best place for authentic Chinese food. Best shrimp fried rice. You don't get the usual 5 pieces of shrimp, there's literally a whole bag in a large order. I have been going there for the last 7 years and will continue to do so. Thanks South China for the great food you provide!!!!

This was my first time ordering, I had heard good things about this place. I ordered the island fried rice, and egg rolls. I would it was good, I ordered online and it was ready pretty quickly. It was nice and hot and had a good flavor to it. I would order again and try something else.

Been going here for almost 30 years, best chinese around. Great, tasty, large portions at an amazing price! Wontons melt in your mouth. Beef lomein is wonderful, very tender meat and delicious noodles.

Great food at a very fair price the order process isn’t the greatest but the food tastes great 9/10 times and the guy I spoke to was very kind keep it up.

Simple, but good Chinese fare. I've only done the takeout, but I love the fried rice and the hot and sour soup. Reminds me of the old neighborhood restaurant near my home growing up. Fair price for how much food you get.

Been eating here since I can remember! I will drive all the way across town for their food. Staff is amazingly friendly. Hands down the best place to get Chinese food in the twin cities

Food is good especially egg foo young any kind Chicken mushroom chow mein good not so into their fried rice it's not to my liking it might just be the one I had fried chicken wings really good though

Keep coming back for the Four Seasons sizzling dinner. Can't beat it, especially at the price. Friendly staff. Customer since 1991. The wontan soup is really good. Some of the best in the area for the price.

Our favorite "Hole in the Wall". Their cream cheese wontons still cannot be beat. Even their beef or chicken fried rice is the best out there! Hubby has to have their wonton soup whether he takes it home for later or not, its a taste bud staple.
