It was absolutely gorgeous, we had so much fun. My two nieces, sister-in-law, and I went on a nature walk and it was excellent 👌👍. The most beautiful place I've been in a long time. It was a glorious day, too. Not too hot, not too humid, not too many bugs. I'll add some pictures.

Loved this trail! Absolutely beautiful. Follows the river, then comes to a point and you turn back around. Bridges were a little bit of a challenge. Had to walk at a slant on them and afterwards have to refocus your equilibrium haha. Beautiful man mad falls. Able to go down in the water bridge at the beginning that people were fishing on.

Beautiful park right by a gorgeous creek! While hiking we saw deer, snakes, birds, crawfish, salamanders, and more! Super fun and all the nature is amazing

Very cool linear park. Upper and lower sections both offer different pleasures; lots of parking; the trails are out and back with many options to be closer or further away from the creek; a bit hard to find the entrance and great care should be taken turning into and out of the entrance because of the characteristics of the entry road. Free entry.

A real gem of a park. The trails are extra wide for larger group (4/5 people) to easily traverse. Deeper into woods trail is single person wide. Love this place!

Beautiful. I wish visitors would respect the signs and stop picking flowers, the insects need those, and other people have the right to enjoy looking at them

A hidden gem, for sure! Was looking for a place to take grandkids fishing. Never knew this place existed until I googled nearby places to fish with kids. Plenty of gorgeous hiking trails. Great fishing- the kids caught quite a few fish. Picnic areas are pristine. Lots of green space with picnic tables, pavillion, playground. Waterfalls and swimming. Very family friendly. Saw several people walking their dogs. The park is patrolled, fishing license required. Even has chart by entrance showing what fish are common in the creeks. Beautiful nature get-away. I'm sure more crowded on weekends, but, a nice quiet space during the week days. We will definitely go back again soon!

Walk a trail, have a picnic, take senior pictures, fish, go on a date, it’s a nice place to visit. Two parking lots, drinking water and bathrooms. This is also a nice place for pictures. Easy access, plenty of parking spots at different levels and kids playground.

It was such a beautiful place! I wish my camera was better but I was able to capture some moments. I visit here 3 times a week. I see many dogs and their owners are very friendly and respectful.

Channing H. Philbrick Park, tucked off behind the trees, off 441 street, another nice picnic spot in Rochester NY. It was my first time in this place, a shed to seat at least 50+ people at least. Surrounded by huge green trees, a sound of running water, somewhere close by, walking path, bathroom area close by, hiking trail, and maybe many more fun things, I may have not explored yet. The place was covered with nuts, by someone before us, our troop cleaned the entire area with a broom, and carried water in trash bags to water clean the area. It was good spot. Rochester NY, does have many good parks, no doubt about it.

Quite, except for the racket of birds and running water. and what a beautiful racket it is. This is a semi-challenging park, although there are plenty of paths that are quite easy, the ones along the water get a little treacherous for the non-nimble of foot. although there is usually a more sure-footed diversion when the trail gets rough.

I am highly sensitive to environmental allergies, if this park is treated, it is not treated with a chemical I respond negatively too.

there are quite a few beautiful protected species in this park. Jack in the Pulpits with 18" leaves!!! I believe I also saw quite a few trillium, except they had already passed their flowering season. (remember they are protected species and not be moved or tampered with)
