Penfield Corner Store

Great customer service! I have been coming to this store for the last 10 years and they have the same owners and employees this whole time - goes to show they are doing something right! It used to be a 7-11 but since they became private, I have noticed that the owners are trying to make it their own and cater to the customers by bringing in requested items (I had been looking for a specific breakfast bar that is hard to find and they ordered it for me!) Love the small business feel of the place and the employees all remember the customers, greet them personally and remember little things about their life through simple chitchats. I'd rather support a local business like this than go to a larger retailer! Thank you for always taking care of us!

Wonderful customer service from some great local owners. They are happy to cater specifically to your requests and will carry specific items that you need. They have been there for 20 years, working tirelessly and are not afraid to go above and beyond for their local neighbors, helping those in need, whether it's helping someone in a tight spot with their groceries, or helping people find odd jobs.

There is only one person I don't like there, and refuse to go inside if she is! I have a fave person as well. He has brightened up that place getting to know his regulars! He is the reason they deserve five even with the flaw of the other one!

He let me go when I didnt have enough for tax and hes super nice, Just a little.

It's not very clean and is very dark inside. The cashier was friendly.

Whoever was working today said they remembered my fiance's ID. He asked if he could ask her a question. She said sure and he said... "I remember your ID You look completely different. What happened?" That is RUDE and creepy if we're being honest because we've only been in a couple times and she has only been IDed once. Not cool.

Cashier tried charging me tax on Arizona ice tea. He told it was taxable. Told me to give him 2 bucks and he would call it even...like he was doing me a favor. Came home looked it up and I'm right ice tea is a tax exempt item. Beware

Extremely disappointed to see that you allow an obnoxiously large political sign to be displayed in your lot so far ahead of elections. It’s in very poor taste. I can only assume you’re getting a commission for allowing it to be there.

$3.00 minimum credit OR debit card purchase at a "corner store", like this is some kind of exclusive high-end nightclub. Twice I have tried to use this "corner store" as most are intended for quick last minute items you may have forgotten or needed in a pinch, and both times the items (dairy items) were expired and unsalvageable. The issue is the closest thing to shop at quickly is a Wegmans 3 miles up the road so you'd like to think you could use the convenience of a convenience store. This place was much better when it was a 7/11, at least they had some standards.
