Good stuff! We'd never been to one before, but drove into town for a funeral at a church up the street and needed some lunch. Glad we stopped there. Super friendly and efficstaff. Very clean. Atmosphere was fine for a burger joint. Food was cooked as it should be, tasted fresh and hot. Generous portions.

Great Plates are fantastic. Great food and wonderful staff.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat and hit the spot. I ordered the grilled cheese with bacon on multigrain roll and it was probably the best sandwhich I've had in a long time....it didn't take long to finish it. The tator tots hot and delic.

My son always orders the garbage plate and he never complains and he never has trouble finishing it....even when full. 😀

Ok so the two cheeseburger plate here is half the size of plates I've ever gotten elsewhere, and twice the price, but the quality and flavor plus the AMAZING service of the happy staff at this location make it worthwhile. Believe me, it still filled me up! And the hot sauce, while more a chili than the traditional cinnamon meat sauce, was really great and flavorful and very spicy in a good tasty way! I'll probably hit them up again next week. Everything is fresh and hot and tasty and the restaurant is super-clean.

I placed a pick up order here and they didn’t have it correct. They had no issues correcting the order at all, and it’s greatly appreciated. Staff was friendly over the phone and pick up time was reasonable. My husband loves their cheeseburgers and I always order the grilled chicken sandwich with the multigrain bread. It’s a solid option for healthy and is very high in protein! Great meals here always.

I don’t even consider them fast food but the service is fast, the food is fresh and delicious.

This is a great family place. And having Abbotts custard on site is a huge plus. Q⁰

I ordered fish frys and love having them on Fridays. The portions are delicious and hardy and the waffle fries are yummy. They turnover all of youth but they do their absolute best to give the best service possible.

Recent visit to Bill Gray's this past Friday. Enjoyed the fish fry - best in Rochester! Haddock not overcooked and tasted great. Deluxe burger was also good. No French fry overload this visit. Dining area clean and friendly staff.

Tons of dining area, clean, and very open floor plan. The food and dessert choices are great! I would only wish for wheelchair accessible tables in the outdoor dining area.

I have always liked Bill Gray's, but it is hit or miss depending on the location visited. We used the drive through at this location today because we had our dogs with us. The food was fresh and hot. Everything was great. The wait time is a little longer than most drive through windows, but that is to be expected when the food is prepared to order.

Best service ever. Everyone was so pleasant and willing to assist. Great foodie experience.

First time at a Bill Gray's restaurant. The food was very good, with portions bigger than I could finish. I saved room for Abbotts Ice Cream, and made a root beer float. Being a Sunday, I also enjoyed watching the Bills game while eating. Staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean.

Have to drive from Buffalo to Rochester just to get a good hamburger

I'll give an honest 5 star for food quality alone. I've never actually had a bad meal from this place. The food is always done quick and is always hot and fresh. Phenomenal garbage plates. One of, if not the best fish fry I've had in the rochester area. Fish frys all week is a huge plus. The staff is mostly younger kids and often make mistakes with the orders but overall not really a big inconvenience. Don't eat in too often but the store always clean whenever I pick up my orders. Great place!

Easy to order - complex instructions (Steak plate, double Mac, heavy everything, hold the ketchup, and relish) = x2. Order the same thing every time... add in some other sides...

... however I absolutely HATE the packaging they use for their "great plates"...

7 times out of 10... the entire order is all over the place, in the box! Leaks thru the box...

Need better packaging! (Been complaining about it for years)

I ONLY use delivery service or drive thru...

you'd think that going thru the covid years they'd update something as simple as this...

Ya know, They do have "green" packaging to prevent a complete disaster/mess post transport.. AND the box doesn't exactly hold in leaks...

Long story short, if ordering a "plate" for take out... don't make any sharp turns, accelerate fast, or brake hard...

Food is great... prolly why I keep going back.

I have plenty of photos of the disasters... not sharing. Too horrific... even threw out a few I was so mad, wasn't worth blowing up the person's ear on the phone, not entirely their fault... they tried.

Simply just what u ask for...great food quick enough to know its cooked fresh..and nice ice cream and treats for afterwards. And a few tvs to catch up on sports or news
