Best Pancakes in the World!

Visited Clinton Street Baking Company on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend and it was an amazing experience! We had the Blueberry Pancakes, Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, and Chicken Apple Sausage. The pancakes were the best I’ve ever had—fluffy, moist, with a fantastic blueberry compote. The warm maple butter was just right, sweet but not overly indulgent.

The Eggs Benedict was also superb, with perfectly poached eggs and delicious smoked salmon. I ordered a Mimosa and my boyfriend had orange juice, both were great. The Mimosa was made with prosecco and had a generous amount, and the orange juice was fresh and filled to the top.

We arrived around 10:20 am and were told it would be a 1 hour and 15 minute wait, but we were seated in just 58 minutes. By the time we left at noon, the wait times had increased significantly, so I’d recommend arriving early or making a reservation if possible.

The service was excellent—fast, efficient, and friendly. The only small drawback was the single bathroom, but it didn’t detract from the overall fantastic experience. Clinton Street Baking Company lives up to the hype and is definitely worth the wait. Highly recommend!

This was the best restaurant during my stay in New York! We didn't have a reservation, but we were able to sit at the bar counter. I highly recommend making a reservation as the restaurant was full quickly after that! The pancakes and the fried chicken waffles were very good. We will definitely return here again.

Definitely check this place out! The breakfast was amazing!! Our server was so delightful and cheery! He made sure we always had what we needed and was quick to update us on timing of our food coming out! The pancakes were incredible and so were the eggs benedict! We got fresh OJ that was so light and fresh too! I found this place on TikTok and it was definitely worth the hype!

This is my favorite place to eat. These are the best pancakes in the world(to me). Ive been here 3 times & I’ll be back 100000000 more. The restaurant itself is no frills but I love the feels. The orange juice, the apple sausage & the banana pancakes are perfect to me in every way. The fried chicken sandwich is also delicious.

The breakfast was great, we split banana walnut pancakes and I had the egg sandwich on a biscuit. The biscuit was soft and melts in your mouth. The eggs were perfectly cooked and fluffy. The space is not big and a lil tight, but fine. We had reservations and was seated immediately. Everyone was really nice! I would go again.

I can't express how great our experience was here. They were able to accommodate reservation for a large group just a couple of days in advance. Our table was ready when we arrived and the service was amazing. The food came out quickly and I can confirm that the pancakes are TO DIE FOR. Slightly crisp outside, cakes inside...paired with dark maple butter. It really can't get better than this.

$18 and a hour wait but worth every bite!! The pancakes have the perfect amount of blueberries in them and that warm maple butter (liquid) was divine. Food came out hot and rather quickly. No crumbs.

The customer service here is nothing short of phenomenal. The food is amazing! I had the NY strip steak & was honestly speechless, it had the BEST chimichurri sauce I’ve ever had! The pancakes were great & their kale salad is definitely a 10/10! Will be returning soon!

Amazing pancake with warm maple butter. Hot chocolate is so good, but not too sweet. I arrived around lunch time and was a bit busy. Great service. Fabulous neighbourhood to walk it off.

I absolutely love this place! Breakfast food is everything!! Fluffy pancakes! Fresh squeezed OJ! The wait staff is attentive and friendly. This place stays crowded on the weekend. Reservations are highly recommended!! You'll often see people waiting on line outside for seats.

I went during the week before they close and re open and it was quiet. Great atmosphere. Friendly service and the food is just damn delicious. They have drink specials. Just pay attention to the board. They do make good drinks outside of the menu. Recommended. If you are doing a big group. Reserve and try to go during the week not weekend.

Some of the best pancakes in NYC! I came as a walk-in with one other person. We were told a 3 hour wait but it ended up only being about 30 minutes, although I will be making a reservation for coming in the future. The food was excellent and service was friendly and efficient. I got the chocolate chunk pancake with hashbrowns and a latte. Would highly recommend!

We visited NYC just for one
day and we wanted to try out this place based on my research and how popular clinton
st baking company pancakes were based of the youtube video from FOOD INSIDER.

We did not have any reservations available online, so we had to walk in and it was on Wednesday around 11am , being a mid week mid day , I was surprised how busy this place was. We waited for 30mins before we got our table. The receptionist was welcoming and happy going , where as one of the waitress who waited our table seemed
to be busy and was not so much welcoming.

We have ordered Spanish Scramble and Chocolate Chunk Pancakes. The Spanish Scramble was delicious , with mashed hash browns and bread toast on the side. I was amazed with the omelette and mashed hash, it was light , perfectly balanced with veggies and cheese. We asked for hot sauce on the side which enhanced the flavor even more. However their toast were not great, it would be nice to have some good toast along with the omlette.

I so wanted to try the blueberry pancakes based of food insider however my love for chocolate made me choose the chocolate chunk pancake & it did not disappoint me. These were the best pancakes I have ever had in my life so far. The pancakes were
so fluffy and cooked to perfection with chocolate chunks in the batter. The maple syrup , wow trying something like this was so
heavenly, the buttery flavor of
maple syrup along with its silky texture, subtle sweetness and rich flavor takes the cake. These pancakes and maple syrup are truly the match made in heaven. The only thing which was a bit disappointing is that we had to pay extra to get extra maple syrup.

Next time I really would love to try their blueberry pancakes.

Definitely recommend this place in NYC if you want to have one of the best pancakes in Newyork.

Excellent brunch spot. Good service. Delicious food. I went for huevos rancheros but most people seemed to opt for pancakes!
Got there at 08.45 for 9am opening and easily got a seat but they could improve the waiting system - two separate queues formed and this allowed multiple people to skip the line (nothing annoys a Londoner more!!)

Turned up early on a Wednesday morning as it was opening and got a seat at the counter - which is our preference anyway so this was a win - but we clearly got lucky as it filled up very quickly with lots of people waiting too. I went for blueberry pancakes while my husband went for the Huevos Rancheros. The food was superb and the service was excellent but especially so from Jess (I think) who was working behind the counter - multitasking to a ridiculous degree but so on top of tending to everyone promptly and taking time to chat too. I can completely understand why this place has gone viral and would definitely recommend.

A friend and I enjoyed our visit here, very clean place, opened for dinner at 5:30 with a line out the door. Apparently reservations are necessary, but a few spots are definitely available at the bar for walk ins. My friend and I chose the walk in route and greatly enjoyed the chicken and waffles. The biscuits were just ok, which was a bit of a let down. I am still in search of the best biscuit in nyc and refuse to place it here or with maison/jacob’s pickles.

This restaurant deserves its rank for having the best pancakes in New York. They are absolutely delicious! I’ve tried the blueberry and chocolate chip so far but I have no doubt that the banana walnut is delicious too. Everyone must try the grits. OMG they are so good! I like the restaurant so much that last year I celebrated my birthday over there with all my closest friends. Everyone said very nice things about the food. Two of my friends had the fried chicken and waffles. They liked it very much. My other friends had rave reviews for the shrimp and grits. Everyone must also try the biscuits and raspberry jam. They are very good! We all ate them up. This is truly a great restaurant. I highly recommend everyone to try the pancakes.

I totally understood the charms of Clinton Street’s pancakes — moist, fluffy, and with crispy edges. If you want a taste of the iconic American style pancakes, GO TO CLINTON ST Y’ALL.

1.5 hour wait on a weekday was INSANE. The crowds surrounding us were mostly tourists. Their food and service were still fabulous no matter how busy the spot was.

* Japanese Pumpkin Pancakes
The pumpkin caramel drizzle seeped into the stack of three pancakes, and we dipped our pancakes into their signature warm maple butter for a more complex flavor profile. The roasted Kabocha squash and toasted pumpkin seeds added a nice touch of crunchiness. They even mixed kabocha bits into the batter, making the whole dessert an absolute indulgence for pumpkin lovers. The portion was also super filling.

Sadly this flavor was only available from 22 to 23 Feb, but they still have other special flavors rolling out till the end of Feb.

*Latke Egg Benedict
I am a savory brunch person so this latke egg benny was my bias. Unlike traditional egg benedict, they replace the english muffin with latke (crispy potato cakes) and elevate it with trout roe caviar. The smoke salmon wasn’t too salty. From now on, a regular egg benedict can no longer satisfy my greed.

This place is absolutely incredible. The pancakes are a MUST!!! Probably the best in NYC. The eggs Benedict were exceptional. All of this came out to a total of $50, so 25 for 2 people. Don’t miss out!!

Pancakes cooked perfectly, eggs delicious, cool drink choices. The inside of this place is super cute, I loved it. Classic breakfast items on the menu nothing over the top nonetheless very tasty. Also loved the boozy milkshake.
