Duane Reade

I’m new to the whole picking up prescriptions thing; however, after having to deal with the CVS on Orchard, because one of my scripts was on back order for all Walgreens/Duane Reade locations, I would recommend this Duane Reade pharmacy to everyone.

Super timely, can see what script was sent over (that CVS can’t? That CVS also seems incapable of answering questions), and just an easy experience.

That CVS has had my prescription order for THREE DAYS and apparently that’s not enough time to fill it. Maybe it’s on back order, if so why can’t they inform me? If not, why can’t they put pills in a bottle in three days?

Either way this Duane Reade gave me the information I needed to tell the doctor what to do in this situation. Also I have experienced them filling scripts on the fly. Absolutely lovely.

They have a great selection of hair,makeup, pet supplies, cleaning supplies, vitamins etc pretty much everything you would look for in a one stop shop. Also they have a western union inside the store.

Employees are always pleasant, clean environment

Only on the Lower East Side,They should carry all products that's my opinion

It has what you need and/or are looking for. That depends on what you are looking for. The People who are working here are excellent people to communicate with. Depending upon who you chose to talk to. At the end of it all, however, you can get what you want and are looking for. Depending on what you are looking for.

This was my go-to Duane Reade and I really liked the cashier staff! They were all super helpful and nice!!!
I went there a couple of times a day and I always had to ask for something. Never had anyone showing me any attitude.

It’s not a premier experience obviously, but the techs and pharmacists are communicative, responsive and thorough, and I haven’t had much of an issue since I started getting my regular meds filled here in October.

Sometimes I can't find what I need here. But I did notice that they sometimes have some outrageous clearance items like organic apple sauce for a few cents or soy sauce; the sales can be as high as 90% off! Keep your eyes peeled.

Looks small from outside but has large footprint in two level store. No long lines and the staff was very friendly.

The dirty drunk hipster patrons are another topic.

Store is Nice and clean..staff gets a 3,, but the Pharmacy gets a 5+,, never a line,, clean, professional, and great pharmacists..

Got me in for a flu shot right away, while another location just over the bridge had a two-hour wait.
