This is our second time here (first was at the Cohoes location). The food is delicious!!!! If you like Lebanese food, you need to try this place. Fresh taste, delicious marinade, fresh salads, hummus and baba ganoush. Oh and the fresh, hot, puffed up Naan compliments the dishes. I dont usually like grape leaves but these are delicious. They also make Arabic coffee by the pot.

My first First time stopping in and I was not disappointed. Tried the beef shawarma salad w Tahini sauce, and a lovely piece of sfouf cake. My first experience with both items and very satisfied. I'll be back!

We had dinner at 5:30 on a Wednesday evening. The staff are outstanding, friendly, welcoming, attentive and full of smiles. The food was excellent, flavorful, large portions.
I can't say enough good things about the experience. There's even outdoor covered patio seating. I highly recommend you give Teta Marie's a try.
The owner Brenda personally visited each table to welcome guests. Natalia our waitress was charming and attentive.

Such nice, friendly service. I enjoyed the background music. It made me want to dance! The food was great, especially the fresh pita, meat pie, and the salad that comes with the entree. So fresh and delicious!! The food is fresh and full of flavor. I wish more people would go here because every time I've seen it, it's empty. Great food at fair prices. Support local. Support small business.

Quality and authenticity is the experience here. My family brought me here for my birthday and it was perfect! There is so much to say, food was beyond good. Teta means grandmother and the dishes here had the warmth and flavor of true traditional recipes, so in my opinion they live up to the name. Every course, every plate served with warm and friendly service. Gluten free pita (they need 24hr advance notice to prepare) and they even brought out a cake at the end of the meal. Arabic coffee and of course baklava. Thank you Teta Marie's you helped make a very memorable birthday and I hope to make many more memories there.

We were traveling through NY and stopped by. Really great food. The chicken shawarma and grape leaves were so tasty! I loved the fresh baked hot bread that the owner brought to our table. Highly recommend this restaurant

Really enjoyed the food! We ordered the grape leaves, Hummus with meat, meat pie, Shish Tawook, and both chicken/beef shawarma platters.

All of those items were really good, but if you like a nice smokey flavor then I would definitely recommend the Shish Tawook (chicken breast is used). Their pita is freshly baked which goes great with their Hummus!

All in all, I had a great time and definitely will be coming again soon to try the other items. One thing to mention is that their garlic sauce is very strong in terms of the garlic flavor, so I would recommend being conservative with the amount of sauce you put on your items whether it's the Shish Tawook or shawarma platters.

Teta Marie's has excellent Lebanese food. The staff was friendly and welcoming upon arrival for my pickup order. I would recommend anyone in the Albany area looking for excellent Middle Eastern food to sample their offerings.

This quaint gem located on Cohoes Island is certainly worth the visit. The food is absolutely amazing and with such a wonderful variety of lebanese food you will certainly find something you enjoy. My first visit was a little under a week ago our order consisted of the mixed sampler (Cheese, olives, Hummus ,Labneh ,Baba Ghannouj, Lebanese bread) 2 meat pies, 1 zaatar pie
(Zaatar, olive oil, instant yeast, flour) and one spinach pie.
Now the sampler has large portions and can easilly be a meal for two with leftovers as well. The meat pies are smaller maybe about 5 inches around but very tasty, the spinach pie was absolutely delicious however it is a smaller portion BUT i would just suggest buying 2! The zaatar pie is massive (the size of a medium to large pizza) and filling and even with no meat its a MUST TRY, I say this because it was so good that i tried to order one on Monday....unfortunately this amazing restaurant was closed. They had me hooked with my first bite! I was so upset that i refused to order from a different restaurant and cooked my own food at home. Today being that yesterday didn't work out for me I immediately came home and called to place an order, I HAD TO TRY MORE ITEMS and get another Zaatar pie! This round we tried the chicken shawarma plate, and the beef shawarma plate (there was a buy one get one free deal, which i couldn't pass up!) We also tried their baklava! WOW the photos say it all. This is no ordinary Lebanese Restaurant, this place is indeed a gem! The flavor of their food is unique and makes you want more, the quality of their food is exceptional and to top that off the quantity of the food you receive is massive there is absolutely no skimping on the portions and their prices are on point, they are certainly not expensive for what you receive. 1 entre can easilly feed 2 people! The pie prices are ideal! Brenda (who owns the business) and her staff are very personable and super friendly...one amazing thing i must note is that they pay attention to food allergies when people inform them and they take all the precautions to make sure there is no cross contamination. This restaurant may be my new favorite place! Also before wrapping up this review I'd like to note that the interior is very very clean and certainly maintained. There are a few tables for indoor dining which is a plus and the atmosphere makes you feel warm inside. I really cant stress how impressed I am with Teta Marie's and if you have not gone yet, please call and place an order you will not be disappointed. I know I wasn't!

I loved walking into this small shop and being hit with an incredible smell. I got the shawarma plate with beef and chicken, baba ganoush, salad with this amazing dressing, and flatbread! It was so fresh. I will be eating here again and again and again!

I discovered the place by chance. Oh the food is to die for. The Lebanese food here tastes just like back home if not better. The serving portions are sumptuous and the owners are generous and greet you with a big smile. I had the chicken and beef shawarma, tabboule, stuffed leaves, hummus and baba ghanouj. I can't get enough. I'm glad I've found Teta Marie's. Will be recommending it to all of my friends.

Was heading to the area for errands with my family and stopped in for a late lunch. The food was very authentic and delicious. Coincidentally it was just a day after the article in the Times Union 😄. Very nice place to try authentic cuisine.

I love Lebanese food, and was quite excited that Teta Marie's was moving closer to Albany, since I've heard good things, but it was too far out of the way to visit previously. The comment about it being a small space with just three tables is for the old location. The new location is an old Italian restaurant, with plenty of parking and seating, conveniently located just off i787, close to the Watervliet Arsenal. The food itself was good, but not pourable, never refrigerated hummus and melt in your mouth beef that I've experienced at other Lebanese restaurants. Service was top notch, and they do pickup and delivery, with phone and web ordering. Prices seemed reasonable, but not a bargain.
