The food is always great at the Penguin. Thick sandwiches, great burgers, the fish and chips is always my go to fav. Sandy (owner) is always a delightful bartender and knows all the Waterford scoop. Highly recommended for that neighborhood feel bar/restaurant. Brian (owner) has so many eclectic dinner specials there is always a surprise. Cheers

The Angry Penguin looks and feels like a pub should. Warm and welcoming. Food is good, service friendly. I don't drink beer, but those who do say the selection is amazing. I drink the draft hard cider. Try the bread pudding. It's awesome. Sandy, the proprietress, is a delight.

Talk about a hidden gem. Wish this place wasn’t so hidden, the chef makes what you like just way better. I had to slow my eating just so I could enjoy what I was eating longer.

Happened to be in the area and tried it out for the name. Both me and my boyfriend got one of their specials which was a burger. One of the best burgers I've had in long time! Wish I could remember what it was called and all the ingredients!

Always great service and a tasty meal. The Jaeger Schnitzel was tender, juicy and flavorful, the mushroom sauce was an excellent pairing. Great meal!!

It's your typical small town dive and I mean that in a good way. The bartenders are funny and very nice. It's a locals bar but if you're in the area you should check it out.
