No idea why I see bad reviews, Considering the hourly rate is cheaper than any garage in the area. So those that left those bad reviews are the ones sore because their vehicle didn’t make it through the process and or needed more work. I’m able to call these people for hourly rates on work that I have done or doing on the side with all the help in the world from this garage nobody has got to give me any information on hourly work for any vehicle and they did. They take their time and they gave me the information I needed twice. It’s a great business. I would love to work here they don’t rip people off. The laws are the law for inspections no one has any idea if you do a bad inspection you get fined and or arrested. Thank you for your service in Cohoes.

I have been going to Don's Garage for over 15+ yrs. They are honest and prices are fair. My parents, grandparents and siblings and now my daughter are going there. Familyrun and owned. I can't say enough good things.

3 years ago, I came to this garage based on the previous ratings - since then, never go to other brand-name garages:

Chris is a great, honest owner and great mechanic - care about his customers and their cars; the guys there are good too;
- always honest with their service and their price; never over charge; never ask you to repair something that does not need to be repaired; 5 stars always.

Took my truck in for a noise it was making in front end, thought it was wheel bearing. They test drove truck and put it up on lift. They also took the time to let me drive truck and they accompanied me to figure out noise.
They couldn't find anything wrong. They said if truck makes noise again to bring it back. They spent all this time on my vehicle and didn't charge me a dime.
I am happy I found an honest mechanic!
Definitely will be returning and have told others to bring their vehicles to this garage.

I never go anywhere else. I love the staff and they are really good with their prices. I have been going to them for years as do my parents and grandmother. When my kids finally start driving that is who I will tell them to go to. Save time and money by calling these guys.
