A Hardware Store on Steroids!

Our first visit to Hatchet Hardware of Troy was for some plumbing parts. When we first walked in, my thoughts were, 'they're not going to have plumbing parts...' I was totally wrong.

This hardware store has it all – everything you expect in a local hardware store and then some. The entry to the store is filled with unique items for your home, trinkets, and gifts. It's a visual delight.

Then you get into the heart of the store and there you'll find housewares and small appliances, landscape supplies, light bulbs...the list goes on. They even offer refills of cleaning supplies for environmentally conscious shoppers. Don't forget about upstairs which houses the plumbing supplies amongst other things.

What's even better is the staff is friendly and helpful. If you haven't been yet, check it out!

This hardware store has everything. Everyone working inside the store was very friendly and very helpful. They also help support other local businesses. Stop by and pick out a unique Christmas gift for family and friends.

Absolutely amazing customer service. Within seconds of walking through the door I was helped and told exactly where to go. I had been to THREE other stores prior looking for the same item but every place was so unorganized no one could find it! I went here and they found it within minutes! The plumbing section was so well organized it was unbelievable. Everything had a place and yet again there was always someone available to help! I LOVE ace hardware.

This store is awesome. The people are super friendly and it has a surprisingly wide selection of tools and it's such a convenience having a hardware store in downtown Troy.

A great place for hardware and other household needs. There are some cute housewares that would work well as gifts as well as refreshing drinks at the checkout counter.

Love this store and it’s homey vibe. The gift and random things to decorate are fabulous. The service is great and they have been extremely patient with me at the paint counter. :)

Visited this hardware store for the first time and was really impressed. Needed plumbing supplies and staff was super friendly, knowledgeable. Good selection as well. Will be using this store regularly in future as well since it is nearby and had decent amount of parking near store for weekday early afternoon.

New to all that Troy business district has to offer. Thrilled to have found Hatchet Hardware! Not just your regular hardware store- found essential oils for my Reiki practice:) Who knew:) My sales associate, Brandon, gave me space to explore the store, but was close enough when I had a few questions. Worth the visit!!!

Best Ace Hardware store ever. The unique gifts and displays are amazing. I could wonder in here for a very long time. Found some great gifts plus they have the household items you could need.

Beautifully curated home goods section. The store includes refill stations for shampoo, conditioner and household cleaning supplies. Love the emphasis on low-waste, sustainable living

Always something new at this store, not just hardware, books, funky new light fixtures, home decor, t-shirts. Great store to spend a hour just to browse. Great employees, and very helpful.

The store is a hidden treasure in downtown. I think a lot of people do not realize it is much more than a hardware store. A great place for out of town visitors to pick up little gifts for people back home.

This place has the best customer service of anywhere I've ever been. They're always completely helpful, fast, and knowledgeable. I've also always been very, very happy with their prices. When you count in the convenience of the downtown location, I can't see a reason to go anywhere else.

This is the hardware store you dream of. Huge, and with a good selection of what you might typically expect at a hardware store, plus decorative and novelty stuff that make it an interesting place to stop in even if you do not need a plumbing fitting or can of paint.

Parking is usually ok, but it is on-street. They have a good selection and a very knowledgeable staff. Definitely punches over it's weight as a downtown hardware store
