Vlad is an outstanding craftsman and provides wonderful service to his clients. He has given the utmost care to upholster and give beauty and new life to a very special sofa , chairs, counter stools and pillows ... he's done much work for us and we are always pleased with his workmanship and attention to detail! Yesterday he stood behind his work and was able to quickly repair a button that needed his TLC. We highly recommend his shop and his work. He is a pleasure to work with. I was at a loss for where to go to have our dining room chairs re-padded and reupholstered, so I chose Vlad purely on his Google reviews -- and SO happy I did! The chairs came out even better than I envisioned, Vlad was always available via email to answer questions, he checked in to see how we wanted the piping trim done (something I hadn't even thought of) and if we'd like gliders on the bottom of the chair legs (again, something I hadn't thought of but absolutely wanted). The finished product is perfect -- the chairs are at least 25 years old, and I'm sure we'll now have them for another 25+. I'm so happy to have found a quality craftsman for these types of projects. Vlad is an excellent upholsterer especially with difficult fabrics. He listens, he communicates his ideas clearly and he follows up to make sure you are pleased with the results. Our need was small, just a seat cushion for a formal dining room chair. Vlad was attentive to detail and careful with the old fabric that we wanted to preserve. I needed to have 8 dining room chairs reupholstered. These chairs are 51 years old. I contacted several locations, but was unhappy with material choices and price. Vlad was recommend by my daughter’s friend and when I mentioned him to a store owner in town that used Vlad services. He and his wife couldn’t say enough on the quality of his work. Vlad is a craftsman. He takes pride in his work and he even brought one of the chairs that was almost finished to see if I wanted to make any changes and offered suggestions. It was a pleasure to work with him.

Over 10 years ago we bought a chair in England at a thrift store. The chair has come with us to the USA and has always spent it's time in attics.

We finally decided to have it upholstered, Vlad was recommended on a local Facebook page and did not disappoint!

Vlad did a stellar job on our chairs, they are better than new! He is a true craftsman, attentive to details, and easy to work with.

During the pandemic we bought a circular daybed for our patio. It came with very thin, light-colored cushions that we knew would never work for us. But we knew we could always call on Vlad. For the first summer we used the cushions that the daybed came with but this year we needed an upgrade. Vlad guided us toward a fabric supplier with great prices. He added water-resistant padding to the existing cushions and covered them with the new fabric. He hid the zippers beautifully and even came up with a perfect way to clip the cushions together, which helps them stay on the daybed platform. This is not the first big project that Vlad has done for us. Many years ago, he recovered a sectional sofa - a perfect solution since we couldn't find a new sectional that would fit our space. He has also done several small projects - sewing cushions and repairing a chair leg. Each time he has treated our furniture as if it was his own! I recommend Vlad to everyone.

Vlad reupholstered our 40-year-old teak dining chairs. They came back better than new, with thicker padding and many minor repairs to the seats. The price was very reasonable (a fraction of other estimates). Highly recommended with one caveat: it took about three months, probably because Vlad was overwhelmed with other business. So just check completion dates and backlog.

If i could give Vlad 10 stars I would. Vlad reupholstered a very old arm chair that had a lot of sentimental value to me. It was no easy task restoring this piece but he did it, and it turned out even better than I ever could have imagined. Vlad was professional, friendly, and kept me updated throughout the process. He even sent me progress photos. Its clear he is a real master of his craft. If you are thinking of getting anything reupholstered, Vlad is your guy. I will absolutely be recommending him to people, and I would absolutely use his services again in the future.

Vlad is an amazing craftsman and a true artist! He loves what he does and delivered amazing quality with each project. We had at least four projects with him, including very complex re-upholstery, restoration, multiple repairs, and design consultations. Vlad is so detail oriented and committed to ling-lasting quality, like you read on stories about old world masters. He is a gem, I feel truly privileged knowing him. Our 20-year old Ethan Allen dining room set just got its 3rd life and looks brand new, stylish and stronger than before, thanks to Vlad.

We had 6 kitchen chairs that needed to be reupholstered. I contacted Vlad after reading reviews about his work. He was very responsive and answered all my questions. He recommended a fabric store, which was amazing. I picked out the fabric and brought the chairs and fabric to Vlad's workshop. He provided updates every few days with photos of the chairs. When I went to pick up the chairs I saw that not only did Vlad do an amazing job with the cushions, he also touched up some knicks on the legs. We are thrilled with how the chairs came out and will definitely be back with future projects!
