Humdinger’s Bar & Grill

This was one of our stops on our Lions Club poker run on Saturday in the quaint town of Merton. This bar had great historical ambiance with wonderful service from our two lovely lady bartenders and ice cold beers. We also took a walk a couple blocks away from this bar to the Bark River where there is a lovely park and fishing available as well with great scenery. We will be back!

I have not been in here since it was OTR, I heard great things about the food so my family and I gave it a try tonight—I was super impressed with the food, the portions were large and delicious. Our waitress was extremely friendly and proficient and juggling waitressing and bartending.

Came in for Sunday breakfast and had a wonderful breakfast burrito. Truly excellent. Steph, the bartender was great and Brandon was terrific.

Local bar, great fish fry, great pizzas. An get a little busy Friday nights but worth the wait.

Food and service have been great every time we’ve come. Will definitely be back.

If you haven't tried Humdinger's, you'll have missed a great little place. Located in the middle of downtown Merton, it's a long drive for me, but well worth the trip. They have an outstanding Friday night fish fry. Humdinger's has 4 varieties of fish to choose from... Cod, Perch, Bluegill and Walleye. All are delicious. The Walleye fillets are enormous! The Bluegill is my favorite. Everything is always cooked perfectly. The drinks are also very good.
I highly recommend Humdinger's!

We went there for a party. Nice small "Cheers" type bar. Staff was very nice, drinks were good. We went in the winter and they made a smoking lounge in the back with a heater, tables, and a bags game. Complimentary popcorn was yummy. I would go back for a drink or party.

A great place for weekday lunch. Really good food and a great selection of drinks.

Ask for Mile's special sauce on your wings or burgers. He refuses to give out the recipe. But man was that good. Sometimes the waitress doesn't know about the sauce. You gotta ask them to check with the cook. Sometimes a different cook is working so they can't make it. Best way to describe it is like spicy BBQ with a lot of tang at the end. Awesome atmosphere! Love the pizzas too! Their pineapple pickle pizza was amazing!

The waitress was VERY accommodating to our group of 10: patiently checking in on us while we took our time ordering, keeping pitchers of water going for us, and bringing our food out. The back room was great for us to watch the Bucks with our excellent pizza, burgers, & sandwiches. She easily was able to keep our checks separate, & all of this service while she was three only waitress & also the bartender! Love this place.

Great little neighborhood bar. Nice beer selection on tap. Just off of the Bug Line bike trail, and they have a bike rack.

Great small restaurant! The pizza, wings, and burgers were all fantastic! The waitress (who's name I can't remember) was basically running everything except the kitchen, and doing a great job! Only one mistake was made on our order, and they fixed it quickly and kindly! Humdinger's is an amazing place to watch the game with friends and family.

Best pizza around town(yes, better than north lake inn). Fish fry is awesome. Perch and walleye is our favorite. Also, their tacos on Tuesday are better than some of the more local authentic Mexican restaurants.

First visit to Humdinger's will not be our last. Great Service: The bartender, Brian, was on top of everything front-side, attentive to all those on barstools, while handling take-out orders on the phone and table-service, including a friendly greeting for new arrivals. We ordered a 16" thin-crust pizza as take-out for our family of three, enjoyed craft-brews on tap during the brief wait. Enjoyed the pizza aroma in the car on the way home, and it did not disappoint! Loaded with toppings, but the crust was still crisp when we got home. Can't wait to try other menu items and quality brew on-tap.

We are new to the area and we're out looking for some new hangouts. Humdinger's was awesome! Fish fry and pizza were both delicious. Rose, Steph and the kitchen crew are great....we are DEFINITELY coming back!

It's nice to have the gluten free option listed on menu, from a photo online. Eliminates all the hassle and questions, before we even arrived. Great food! Friendly, clean and well managed.

Excellent fish fry and cheese curds! I called in our orders earlier in the day and it was ready right at the time I wanted to pick up. Will definitely be back!

Great BARTENDER. Great SERVER. Great Fish Fry! I would put them in my TOP 5 for FISH FRYS! Plus a nice older building on Main St. Give them a try!

Amazing place. Really good food. No parking lot. Sit down dining available and there's a bar area. There's a full menu. Good place for kids. There's also a duck claw machine!!

We did Quizmaster Trivia and it was so much fun! Bar tab for 1st place, 2nd place and best team name. Every Thursday night at 7p. Definitely bring a team of friends and order food ahead of time.
