My 87 year old dad said, “yummy, yummy!” Oh the crispy crusty bread! Ooooh. The meats are exceptional deli meats not the paper thin junk other sub places use. The building looks like an old firehouse…super cool.

Excellent quality bread and ingredients equal terrific handmade subs. Very good value. A local gem. I believe they're only open for lunch. Dine in or takeout. Despite being very busy when I was there, the orders came out very quickly.

This is no ordinary sub shop -- the bread is incredible and fresh, and the meat slices are thick and high quality. They're cash only so be prepared. Highly recommend!!

Merton Sub Co is probably the best sub sandwich I’ve ever had. I’ll start with the bread is amazing every time. Freshly baked, crunchy on the outside and perfect on the inside. Thick cut meat, perfect amount of toppings. I use to get the Chief but now I’m stuck on the Italian. Comes with a nice bag of chips too. The owner is very personable, takes the time to get to know you when he’s not too busy, very good at remembering names and what your story is. I love a small town business like this, mom and pop kind of place. It’s in the old Merton Fire house too! I’m thinking about having my nephews birthday party here.

Mark (Owner) is a great guy. Will talk with you while he works and has a great product. Bread made fresh daily, meats used are quality and he is willing to alter subs slightly upon request. No cheese. Add peppercinis. Or hot peppers. A beverage. Chips and a giant sub for $11! Can't beat that.

Been going here for years, anytime I'm in the area around lunch time. Not your average sub shop.

WOW. The Chef John is probably the best sub I have ever had! Superbly fresh ingredients, bread is off the chain, hot peppers a must! Owner is super friendly and inviting space in the old fire house!

Oh my goodness!! Just moved to the area for obviously a variety of other reasons but I think this sub shop is going to be my favorite reason. Soooo good! Best sub I've ever had, easily. Shared the "hook" with my daughter, plenty of food for both of us. Generous portions and excellent quality of ingredients. I'm kind of picky with deli meat, this was literally the best. You won't regret coming here. Also, cash only. Super nice owner, we will be back for sure!

1st time there had in the Italian sub with hot peppers one of the best subs I have ever had he deserves to have more business than I'd seen there if you haven't tried it you should A+A+A+
