The Steaming Cup

This is my got-to local coffee spot. The atmosphere is cozy and eclectic. My favorite menu item is the provolone wrap. My husband loves “the bomb”. The service is always awesome and the coffee is yummy. This spot especially shines in winter. It’s so nice to sit and watch the snow fall, as you sip your warm beverage. I just can’t say enough about The Steaming Cup!

I love coming here. It’s a great atmosphere to meet up with a friend to chat, to read a book, to get some work done. I always try the monthly drinks and have yet to have one I didn’t like and the chai is superb! They even offer gluten free bread so I’ve been able to enjoy the sandwiches the rare occasions I’ve come in for good. Highly recommend stopping by, just know others love this place too so often most of the tables are already taken when I’ve come in the afternoon.

Stopped with my son for lunch. We really enjoyed our sandwiches and coffee. We tried the Bird, and the grilled cheese with bacon. We both had iced lattes that were delicious. It is really cute inside too. I was able to get around in my power wheelchair pretty easily. There is a little bit of a lip coming in the door though, so be careful with that.

The Steaming Cup has the best food I've ever had at a coffee shop. In my experience, coffee shop food has typically been bland, so the first time I ordered food from here, I wasn't expecting much. However I instantly realized that this food was full of flavor and quality. I simply cannot believe how amazing the food is here, I can't stop ordering it. The Breakfast Sammy and the chicken caeser wrap are my favorites, and I always order a Belgian waffle too. Even the Belgian waffle comes with real maple syrup. I don't know what other coffee shops nearby are going above and beyond like that. The atmosphere is also great and I can't wait to sit and dine in-person. Haven't tried the coffee yet, but I'm sure it's equally as great. Seriously, hats off to all the staff, management, and owners of this place. It's so hard to find such quality food these days at such an awesome price.

Coffee is good. Prices are a little high on some things. First time I went Tony Evers showed up and sat down at the table next to me.

Awesome place! I am very particular about my coffee drinks - usually they are weak and way too sweet. Not here!!! I got the Cinnsational Revolver - it was fantastic! I will be back for it. Really cute shop; cozy, comfortable and very coffee-shopesque. Highly recommend!

this is not only a stylish place where you can drink coffee and have a bite, but even buy something original. My daughters and I love this place!

Great service from associate behind the counter. Good tea and the Bird sandwich I had was wonderful. It is just beautiful inside.

I always come here for when I’m doing homework and when I want to grab a quick bite, people there are super nice and it’s a very cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend if your in the area!

Breakfast after girls trip to waukesha. We stayed at the clarke and the bar/restaurant was closed for renovations and the hotel gave us vouchers for breakfast. Get the biscuits and gravy if you're here for breakfast. Super light and fluffy biscuits and sausage gravy... I can say it felt (and tasted) like homemade from scratch that only a mother would make.

I tried their sandwich special "broccoli cheese" with a cup of chicken enchilada. It was amazing! Sandwich was super cheesy with garlic flavor. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great place for a quick bite!

It was fabulous as always! Been going there for years still the best coffee and breakfast food. However they forgot about my coffee until one of the workers asked if I was just waiting on food. But all good made my coffee and sent me on my way.

Good environment and food. There are lots of options for sandwiches as well as salads. There is a wide variety of desserts.

Great assortment of food and specialty drinks! Cute indoor seating and even an entire backroom! Loved the decor, the vibe, and the coffee!

Walked in on a very cold evening just to get warm for a few mins. Ended up spending an hour enjoying the great coffee and hot choco. The ambience was amazing with soft music running. It was a warm n cozy surprise. Some of the decorations are inspiring.

Nice and cozy coffee shop where you can get sandwiches and pastries. This is my second time here. It is terrific. A great option to having to do Starbucks all the time. It is in a really cool downtown area of Waukesha that is very walkable and has lots of shops and restaurants.
Coffee is great too. This is also a great place to do some work and pound out emails.

The cup of coffee was excellent. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was a comfortable place to relax and enjoy a peaceful morning or afternoon cup of coffee.
