The Fine Grind - A Coffee Bar

This was a true find in the town. I literally was looking for a coffee place to set up and do some computer work while I was doing some scouting in the area. This place was the closest I went here and wow this is so amazing little coffee shop the vibe the feel what they had to offer and apparently it’s an amazing place. It’s been around quite a while and has one quite a few awards and amazing gingerbread cookie latte recommended by the barista, and I had one of their housemate soft pretzels which was delicious, the one really cool thing here was they have this little robot thing that brings you your order? I literally was seeing my computer and I heard this robotic voice say you were order is here and I kinda looked over my shoulder like huh and here’s the this little thing I took it off and then it said, OK when you’re done I pressed OK so thank you. Have a great day and turned around and rolled away. I was like wow I wouldn’t think I was in a little coffee shop and some small town some like high-tech thing you sing you would see an upper Manhattan the prices are really good. The people are super nice and chill, they have an amazing assortment of sweets and the normal things you would find at any great coffee shop if you ever find yourself near this place, you definitely have to stop in and indulge a little. I certainly did and if I find myself in this area again, I absolutely look forward to return.

Plenty of in shop seating with a very warm and inviting atmosphere. Very comfortable. The coolest addition to this family friendly shop is “Buddy the Robot” that actually serves your order at your table. Such a clever fun and unique idea. Specialty coffees were made as ordered and were tasty and hot. The lemon bar and cheesecake cannoli were excellent!

Great coffee cafe 10 minutes away from Caldwell University in NJ. Staff was amazing and the atmosphere is perfect for a coffee shop. They have a ton of specialty coffee options. The baked goods are delicious and they have a delivery robot!

A really cute spot with great coffee! They also have a decent amount of seating and this was a great cafe to catch up with friends. Ordered a Raspberry Mocha Latte and bagel with egg & cheese. They also look like they have a great community presence and have really cool artwork for sale!

The coffee was really good! I got a pumpkin spice latte with one pump of pumpkin added in oatmilk and no whip cream! If you like your coffee a little sweet but not too much, then one pump is enough! They don’t blast music either, which is a plus for those who want to study! It’s a cute and cozy coffee shop!

The Fine Grind never disappoints! Ordered their vanilla snuggle and a ham and cheese quiche with multi grain chips and hummus on the side - delicious! Despite being busy, service was great. We were seated in the dining area and our order was brought to us by their robot server which is always fun.

I've been going to The Fine Grind for a while now, it's a great spot for coffee and a snack, or a quick meal. On a cold day the soup and sandy really hit the spot. There's a little robot that brings your food and drink to your table, and local artists on the walls. They have events like open mic night and a shelf of board games. It's a very nice place definitely check it out.

Let me start by saying how absolutely kind the people are in here. I was nervous because it was packed and I was with my 2 children wanting to try something new ! And they were so attending and actively looking for a table for us and we finally were able to sit and enjoy their delicious food! My daughter has sensory issues and is very hard to have her eat and sit still. She absolutely loved the soup and grilled cheese! Watching her eat was amazing! Love love love their atmosphere and the food and the robot was super cute on top of the whole experience! Will be visiting again !

I lived in the area for a number of years before moving away. Every time I come to North Jersey, The Fine Grind is one of my "must go to" stops. Love the coffee, the food has always been second to none! It was great living in a small town and having such wonderful local stores to visit. I know that they have tried opening other locations, but hopefully one day they will open something like this place where I live. We have nothing like this down here....

Whether you love coffee, music, or just the community feel, this is your "go to" for all the above and much more. The staff is friendly, the owners are super, and the food is better than anything else that I have tried....and north jersey is known for good food! I would give this place a million stars if I could!.....lol

Legendary local establishment. Been going for years. Always consistently excellent with a wide variety of options. No matter how you like your coffee there's gonna be something you like. Friendly and Chill atmosphere with tons of seating options.

I adore this place. The coffee is always good, the food options and sweets are a good selection and always delicious. Staff is always welcoming and friendly. It's just a great cafe.

I love this place! It makes me feel cozy! The worker Val helped me with my order and she did a great job at answering my questions!

Absolutely love this place! What a great environment and always something going on from Live Music to Trivia Night! The food and drinks were also amazing. Very kid friendly and highly recommended!

We got the Menorah Mocha (iced) for $6.30 and the Gingerbread Cuddle (hot) for $6.30. I think the mocha was supposed to have sprinkles, but ah well. It was very lightly pepperminty so not like the toothpaste you sometimes get elsewhere. Both were delicious and festive. Kind staff, pretty holiday decorations and cute merch! Would be a cozy place to study or work :)

In town for basketball tournament and stumbled on this place. Had the quiche w/ peppers and they add a nice pesto salad. Good coffee and overall awesome place and service. A must If ur nearby!

Got decaf from here which was perfect. Tried chocolate lava again delicious. A great place to chat and eat. Also can work from here. Paintings are creative and beautiful. Saw some bags hanging. Did not have time to ask about them. Soft drinks available.

Very cute coffee shop serving a variety of drinks, pastries and other foods (likes, soups and sandwiches, etc). Very friendly staff AND the best part about the visit which I did not know they had, was Buddy the robot who actually delivers your food order right to your table. Very nice touch. Unless your afraid of robots and modern technology that is. Lol.

I’m so excited I found this little gem of a coffee shop. The food and coffee here tastes as good as it looks. I was very surprised by the great and attentive table service as most coffee shops don’t really come to your table to take care of you; instead other coffee shops require you to order, wait, and pick up your own food. So far I’ve only tried the Gingerbread Latte with added marshmallows and thanksgiving sandwich but I’m looking forward to coming back and trying all their inventive flavors.

Rhonda and the staff do an excellent job of offering a quaint atmosphere, awesome coffee, tasty treats and savory selections! Love my TFG!

Drinks and baked goods here are amazing. I absolutely hate coffee but what I've had from the Fine Grind, coffee drinks included, have all been really good.
