New Castle Beach

Clean clear day. $15 to park. Playground for littles and a bathroom.

Great Island Commons on New Castle is a great, town park open to the public. Located at the mouth of Portsmouth Harbor, you can see two lighthouses and enjoy watching ships of all sizes going in and out. If you're lucky, you could see a nuclear submarine coming or going into the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.

Always a great time to visit with my family. There were some baby birds on our last trip up there and they were so cute. Really glad we were able to see such beauty.

A beautiful clean little beach with lighthouse views, hundreds of flat skipping rocks and low tide pools

Beautiful beach it's my place to go when I can't get down to Massachusetts

Great place to bring kids or just to sniff the ocean air. They have a number of grills, picnic tables, and a few covered pavilions along with a kids playground.

Not as good as old castle beach. The newer castles just don't have the same vibe.

Beautiful place, parking lot close to the beach, lot of places to hang out with families.
