Emery Farm and Market Cafe in Durham is a charming gem that encapsulates quintessential New England charm. With a rich history dating back to 1660, it's steeped in tradition and offers a unique glimpse into the region's heritage.

The quaint market is a delightful place to explore, showcasing local products and artisanal goods. But what truly stands out is their coffee, which is rich and flavorful, providing a perfect start to the day.

However, the real stars of the show at Emery Farm are the apple cider donuts. They are, without a doubt, the best I've ever tasted. Freshly made and bursting with flavor, they are an absolute must-try.

Emery Farm and Market Cafe is a perfect representation of the idyllic New England experience. Whether you're sipping coffee or savoring those delectable donuts, you'll find yourself immersed in the region's charm and history. It's a place I wholeheartedly recommend for anyone visiting Durham

Google Maps takes you to the Emery residence, not the farm. It's nearby on Piscataqua Road 🛣.
Five ⭐ s because it was more than I expected! Inside was impressive with the cafe/sandwich counter and the selection available for purchase. Coffee ☕, smoothies, 🥯 bagels, apple 🍎 cider donuts, hot chocolate or cider, and the interesting choice of 🥪 sandwiches.
I had apple cider pumpkin spice smoothie 🥤 with whipped cream and caramel. I was enjoying my experience with it. My friend, she isn't into smoothies, but after trying the smoothie I ordered, she liked it! My son gave it a try, liked it, asked for another sip and took a big swig!
The inside sells local products and groceries. They also have a refrigerated section as well. Outside, there are the pumpkins, gourds, flowers and gardening supplies.
They have picnic tables, areas for the kids to play and a stable with goats 🐐 and 🐔 chickens.
The corn 🌽 maze was interesting for my friend and I. My son, who is becoming a beach ⛱ bum, had enough when we got stuck! There is a house in the center of the maze.
Plenty of parking 🅿. There is an EV charger available.
I'm coming back 🔙! I went for breakfast. I had the Kolly Bagel 🥯 sandwich, pesto scrambled egg with tomato 🍅 and Vermont cheddar 🧀. Very good 👍. I had a pumpkin spice coffee ☕ with an apple cider doughnut. Doughnut was very good. The coffee lacked the flavor I ordered and it didn't taste good.
I still recommend a visit!

While expensive, there is quality in their food and treats. Also, seeing the farm animals is cool. Saw eggs being collected from the happy chickens, but sadly, not available to buy. Nice outdoor scene.

We enjoyed our coffee and Apple Cider homemade donuts at one of the tables outside the building as the weather was very pleasant. The pumpkins and flowers all around added a lot of joy to the farm. The crew at the Cafe' was very hospitable and professional. Thank you!

Great place with nice atmosphere. My experiences with the staff have all been pleasant and the food I found hasn't been bad. Especially enjoy visiting and feeding the goat brothers carrots. Just watch your fingers... Goats may not have upper teeth but they can still nip! 🐐

Emory Farm makes the most fabulous Tuscan sausage soup I’ve ever tasted. They sell it fresh in a small container or frozen in a large container. I totally recommend you stock up! Absolutely delicious!

Lovely setting for a market/cafe with fresh produce, baked goods and sandwiches. You can pick your own berries or purchase them at the market. Great place for families. They also have petting zoo and picnic area.

I am amazed by Emery Farm! It’s a place that takes you back in time and is so beautiful, from the moment you pull into the parking lot you are struck by the charm! These cider donuts are the most incredible thing I have ever tasted, they’re so fluffy and delicious! If you love cider donuts they are a must!

Pretty hilarious that they have a "no shirt, no shoes, no service" sign in front of the sign that says "all races, all cultures, welcome". Not all cultures wear shirts or shoes. Not to mention, who is denying entry of certain races into their stores? Anyway, they have really good food and the employees are helpful and nice, I like the pre made soups and meals, makes dinner easy.

Awesome market & cafe. The Americano was one of the best I've ever had. On our recent trip we picked up native perennials and had delicious baked goods!

Bustling lunch place with outdoor tables and lots of space for families and kids. Small fresh grocery and bakery also on the premises. So glad we stopped on our way to Lincoln from Portsmouth Airport.

Absolutely lovely market and cafe inside, with a large selection of plants and very picking outside. Very allergen and restricted diet friendly. They sell and kinds of local and handmade items, from cups to soaps to baked goods.
EV chargers free for customers, 1 hour limit. One is out of operation as of 5/10/23
