Lu Nello

Very nice! Wonderful food. Tasty and not over seasoned. Presentation is not over done, just great food. Atmosphere is calm and gently quiet. You can actually talk to everyone at you table. Service is impeccable. Top shelf.

My experience at Lu Nello was incredible the service was great. The bar area was nice and modern the dining area was great as well. I ordered a pork chop and a Caesar salad all my food was excellent. The prices are high but it’s a fancy restaurant and it’s worth it.

This is my favorite restaurant and this place does not disappoint! My favorite would be the Zuppa De Mare LuNello, it's amazing! The service is fantastic and I will continue to come here year after year. We have been here many times and we will continue to show our support as long as the food and service continue to be excellent!

If your looking for a TOP NOTCH Italian restaurant Lu Nello is it! It has a beautiful Italian decor inside, an extensive menu from house made pastas, seafood, to top of the line meats. There was really something on the menu for every budget. They have your basic Italian dishes also an extensive list of specials of the day. They also give you a list of specials of the day all written down which is nice because I’d never remember them all. I ordered a half order of the strozzapreti pasta as an appetizer topped with lump crab meat. The half order was a huge portion that I asked my waiter if this was the dinner size or appetizer portion! It was absolutely delicious, and despite the large size it was so good I managed to eat it all! For dinner I asked my waiter if the chef can make me veal chop parmesan. They have veal Parmesan on the menu, but I just love veal chop parmesan! I’m not kidding when I tell you this was the best veal chop parmesan I ever ate, and believe me I ate a lot of them! It was pounded very thin and lightly breaded topped in a fantastic red sauce and fresh mozzarella. The veal melted like butter it my mouth! They had lots of house made desserts to choose from, and I chose one of the dessert specials of the day which was a house made cinnamon crunch donut topped with vanilla gelato. It was AMAZING, and a perfect ending to my fabulous meal here! Lu Nello is definitely one of the best Italian restaurants in NJ, and it’s definitely worth a trip to dine here!

My wife and I celebrated our wedding Anniversary and it was our first time back since the pandemic. The recent renovations that were done are spectacular. A very warm atmosphere and friendly service as in the past. The food and service was outstanding. Considering the inflation, the prices are very fair and comparable to others. One of the most beautiful and classiest restaurants around and has always been our favorite.

We attended a Christmas party for my husband's workplace. Service, food, and atmosphere were exceptional. Great time to start the holiday celebrations.

Very elegant. Proper attire is required! The staff is very helpful. From the valet to the management everyone goes over and above. The food is above average and the menu is creative.

RHONJ fans: they’ve renovated the dining room where Teresa flipped the table and it’s unrecognizable now, but regardless, a cool landmark to see.

We highly recommed Lunello's.
Went last night for the first time in too many years.
The staff was welcoming and friendly and the food was deliscious.
The waitstaff was mostly attentive and made recommendations when asked.
We were never rushed and were given plenty of time to enjoy each dish.
Loved the Spiedini and pasta in pesto sauce! My wife actually finished her gnocchi and was ready to lick the plate.
I think this may be our new 'Go to' spot for fine Italian.

Wow, I was so impressed with the renovations you did at the bar. My friends who I met there for dinner tonight, have been coming to this place for many years and the encrusted pistachio salmon with the Dijon Mustard was just like we had it yesterday. Chef Lou, incredible. And kudos do the bartenders, Deana, Justine and Laura. You really made us feel welcomed and appreciated. We Will definitely be back. Incredible food and service. PS. Great food..great ambiance...the owner is amazing. Will come to the table and say hi. Great bar..alot of repeat customers. Definitely a great place if your looking to impress clientele or your significant other.
