North shore BEEF in Durham! Delicious, fresh, and unbelievably seasoned roast beef. Jimmy the river, cheese on the bottom, light mayo. These people get it. Perfectly toasted bun. Better than most BEEFs I’ve had in Mass.

Ordered Door Dash from this place and they made sure it was still as great as walking in.

JP’s has a nice modern interior with an up-scale feel in the kitchen. Always quick to prepare and food is great quality.

Highly recommend this place if you haven’t had a bite yet.

Best Roast beef sandwich I have ever had. It was amazing and the BBQ sauce had a nice bite to it. Fries were amazing too

The most melt in your mouth tender roast beef I have ever enjoyed. Phenomenal...I only found this restaurant by accident, thank goodness. I was heading to Newington today but found out store I was going to had closed and luckily I was redirected to Durham. Durham, being a college town had many options for lunch up & down Main Street, very happy my taste buds won over my husband's who would eat pizza everyday. This restaurant is run by two sons (who were both friendly and enhanc d our dining experience) their father who came in to wipe down the tables explained to me he started the pizza place attached next door in 1977 then he bought this part of the building and opened this amazing sandwich shop only to sell it years later then buy it back one year ago and had his son's take it over.
That's your history lesson for the day 😁 just go, enjoy tell them I sent ya 👍

We have tried lots of Roast Beef places all over NH and Massachusetts… this is by far the best roast beef we’ve ever had in NH! This is now our new favorite place to go to for an awesome roast beef sandwich! The fries were also delicious! I highly recommend this place!!!!!!!

Great service. Great place for subs and pizza. I had a big order and the cashier asked me if we went to the Wildcat game. (We had). He reminded us we'd get 15% off if we showed our stub. Saved a bunch.

I have sampled many Roast Beef Sandwiches all over the Northeast and by far JP's is the best I have had! Their medium sized sandwich is as big as the large size at The Blue House in Derry, tastier than Kelly's Roast Beef or The Beef Side and these roast beef house's are some of the best around, JP's is at the pinnacle of them all. Their potion sizes are huge, roast beef falling out of it and so good! The taste is warm, perfect and the whole sandwich is medium rare pink not a mix of well done and pink or overcooked like most hot roast beef sandwiches! The portion of fries you get with their roast beef basket would make a supersize fry look like a small and they are perfectly cooked and salted. John and Justin pride themselves on happy customers and Justin made my food and was awesome at explaining their process for making a quality sandwich. The prices are reasonable, the food is awesome and the service was great! For being in a college town they are a step above the rest and make simple, classic favorites that are reasonably priced, huge portions and John and Justin as well as their staff were friendly and on point! A can't miss local favorite for great food.

This place is quite far the best lunch spot I have been to. Quick and convenient. Usually about a 10 minute wait if you walk in and order at counter. Everything on the menu is great. Personal favorite of mine is buffalo chicken tenders and poutine fries are to die for. Well worth the money you spend.

Had a bacon burger and it was excellent!!! I do low carb so I asked for it without a bun and without fries and they were very accommodating! They even offered to make it in a lettuce wrap.

Delicious food and friendly service!! I'll definitely be going here again. Glad to have found a go-to burger for when I need food in town.

Outside of the MA North Shore, didn't think this type of place existed. It's like being back in my hometown, where the beefs are done "3-way," and the cheesesteaks are shaved, and juicy.

Totally blown away by JP's Grill. Pretty sure the owners are from Peabody, MA, and they definitely know exactly what they're doing. At the risk of betraying my North Shore roots, I'd argue JP's is one of the top beef shops I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying.

If you're familiar with (and seeking) this style cuisine, you'll not be disappointed. If you're new to all this, it may just change your life (sorry/not sorry).

After the first visit, have been back at least a dozen times. Best beefs, cheesesteaks and fries around. Can't wait to check out the rest of the menu, but so far, I can't help but order these nostalgic classics!

Their chicken tender basket satisfies me more than my husband. Every time I go there, I get the chicken tender basket that comes with fries and I literally just start having an orgasm because it’s so good. If they put crack in their food (they probably do) then I wouldn’t even care. JP’s is my drug of choice.

I went here for lunch while in town for my cousin's wedding. My wife and I both had the chicken parm sandwich. Which was delicious. My only criticism of the sandwich itself was that it would have been better if they put sauce between the chicken instead of just on top of it. But I would definitely have it again.

One of the best Steak and cheese subs in New England, and the service is just as good as the food. Great job in Durham, go UNH!!!!

This place is the best. I loved it when it was open 10 years ago, and I love it now. Their roast beef sandwiches are the best north of MA. The kebab sandwich is also great. I only wish they would deliver!!

JP's Eatery is back. Good food, different menu than the older Eatery. Roast beef sandwich plate is good (bring friends to help eat all the fries or you'll get fat).

Anyone who loved the original JP's Eatery will feel right at home here. It has a modern look but the same great food. It's a nice place to go for a quick bite.

I had a steak grinder here and it was great. I don't remember which one I ordered but it came with salami on it as well which I thought was unusual but I liked it :-)

Love it! It's always great to support your local businesses especially ones with such great food and employees. Also, their website is so easy to navigate with online ordering. Can't go wrong. I definitely recommend this place!
