Holiday Inn Express Durham - (Unh), an IHG Hotel

I stayed with my Dad for a night to get out of my dorm, and it was amazing. Everyone was very nice, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Now I’m not saying that because I’m used to my dorm bed, I have a 3 inch mattress pad! It was incredibly relaxing, and the breakfast smelt amazing. If any of my family has to stay off campus again, I’ll recommend them this hotel!

I was thrilled with my stay at this location. Centrally located, close enough to beaches but without the crowds and noice. The hotel was pretty much spotless! Beds were clean and comfortable, furnishings were in good condition and spaces were well maintained. Hallways were immaculate and bathrooms were excellent. Floors were clean and felt clean -- a big deal for a mom with a toddler running around! All the staff was friendly and accommodating, had suggestions for eating, and helpful with information about the location. Breakfast was good, a few more options (whole milk) would be great but we were very happy with the pancake machine, variety of meats, breads, and of course, cinnamon buns.

Great location, walking distance to downtown Durham and the University. Hotel was just what we needed for a 1 night stay. Complimentary breakfast was better than expected!!

Place was very clean. Gentleman at front desk was nice and helpful. Room was clean and breakfast the next day was very good. Lots of choices. I would have loved some salsa with my eggs but it was good even without it. Would highly recommend

By far the most friendly and accommodating staff I have met at a hotel. I had the pleasure of working with Joni, she catered to all my needs and freed up a room for me before check in time. She also went out of her way to work with her sales team to get me a corporate discount. She was awesome.

The room was extremely clean, comfortable and private. Local to business and restaurants. When returning for work in the future this will be the hotel I check into.

We had a group of 14 stay for a conference at UNH, all arriving on different times and many on different reservations. Staff were easy to work with in managing these reservations. Guests found the hotel clean and convenient. I would work with them again for a group booking!

Lovely guest experience working with Kiarra. She went above and beyond to help our family with young kids. It's was nice to have someone understand the guest experience and do everything they can to make a trip comfortable. Highly recommend.

Clean, newly renovated and largest rooms I have stayed at since Disney and it's a fraction of the cost. The staff at service desk was friendly and accommodating, but the only flaw was the taste of the Continental breakfast. The egg omelets didn't taste well and edges were very dry and the juice and I had hoped for Bacon... But they did offer pork and turkey sausage instead. A great location near restaurants and shops and even a gas station close by. Only 20mins from Portsmouth and Durham.

Great location. Quiet. Bathroom was small but room was great. Nice TV. Comfortable beds. The front desk clerk, Laura, was great and so friendly. Would definitely stay again!

The management and staff were fantastic! Went above and beyond what was expected. We had a member of our party who recently had surgery, and the room we booked wasn't bug enough for a rollaway bed. The manager noticed a suite was available and moved our group there so the rollaway would fit. This made all the difference in our comfort level! Room and hotel was very clean and modern, and the breakfast that was offered was a great way to start the day. Thank you!

Great place for parents to stay during orientation, moving days, and just to visit. In close proximity to campus and even closer to downtown restaurants. Within the last year, they've replaced all or most of the mattresses, so you can count on a good nights sleep. Rooms are clean and the employees are very nice.

Rooms were a good size and looked updated. The long counter/desk/bag area was a fantastic design and gave us plenty of room for our bags and junk and added seating. Staff was very friendly, from front desk to cleaning and maintenance. This is our first pick when visiting our son at UNH.

Amenities, cleanliness and friendliness are top notch, absolutely fantastic. Also they are really fantastic about pets. Only downsides are that our room in the first floor had some loud machine near it (in the basement?) that was audible through most of the day.

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express for a conference at UNH. Hotel was very nice and had no issues with the stay. Staff was extremely friendly and breakfast was out on time and better than most continental breakfasts. Would recommend to anyone staying in the Durham area.

Very clean and modern room. The staff was amazing and help me with a few things I needed and we're also kind enough to make sure I got the package that was mailed to me before I got there. Also less than a mile walk to the football stadium and Amtrak and only about a third of a mile from all the restaurants in town.

The staff were very friendly. The rooms were clean and cozy. The hotel itself was quiet, but the road it was on was a little noisy and busy. You can walk to all the local restaurants and the college.

Nice, well kept hotel. Room was clean and comfortable and common areas were well maintained. Exactly what you expect from a Holiday Inn Express. Convenient location with an easy, short walk to campus. Would stay here again

One of the cleanest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in and we travel quite a bit. Very friendly front desk staff and a pretty big variety for breakfast. Really impressed. 👍

Got in with a nice discount. Beds have pillows with embroidered pillowcase noting which ones are soft or firm -- I DID NOT MAKE THAT UP. Was within walking distance of UNH even though it was blazing hot out. Continental breakfast was passable but they had a friggin' pancake making machine where you press a button and a minute later you get two silver dollar pancakes rolling hot off the press! OMG! And today they had chocolate chip cookies in the lobby -- nobody told me there would be cookies! Awesome!

Stayed there for 3 nights and it was really nice, the room was clean and large for that price; staffs were friendly. My favorite is that they provide free wifi and parking (many 300-dollar hotel don't have that).
