No frills lobster shack - if you're looking for a quality, classic style lobster roll in New England you MUST go here. Portion is generous for lobster roll; also ordered the corn, coleslaw, and baked beans. Baked beans were 100!

This place is BYOB. It accepts credit cards, but sodas are cash only vending machine ($1 bills only). Right on the water and plenty of seating makes it well-worth the drive for classic New England experience. 12 minute drive from Portsmouth, NH.

Parking is either in the small lot or on the shoulder. You may have to U-turn a couple times to find a spot :)

An authentic pier on the Chauncey river open from may to October. The location is beautiful and the food amazing, best lobster roll I have ever had. The prices are reasonable, and it is possible to bring your own drink. It has a small parking lot so I suggest to avoid busy hours. This is not a restaurant so don’t aspect fancy furniture, it’s a place to enjoy the wonderful nature of the Maine coast.

Awesome BYOB Seafood spot in Kittery really ! It’s location on the river is beautiful , which makes it quite a unique destination! Their Chowder was fantastic, and while the Lobster roll was on the salty side we really enjoyed it !

On top of being able to bring our own beer/wine, We have seen other patrons bringing their salad, humus, veggies to complete their meal .

While the chowder was reasonable, the rolls was at 25.99$, which has been the highest we have paid in our trip. But the location makes up completely for it !

Absolutely amazing! The location is by the water, with a very calming view. The lobster was fresh and delicious! I also had the clam chowder (in bread bowl), very hearty and tasty. Bring your own drinks! Do not miss!

Fresh steamed lobster with butter; sitting on a dock on a nice sunny day. It doesn't get much better than that. My wife had the tuna salad and liked it. Excellent stop and a checkmark on the bucket list.

Absolutely marvelous classic lobster pier. They have a window on one side for sandwiches and a shack on the other for whole lobsters. This is BYOB, so bring it.
.
Pick your table, because you'll need the number when you order so they know where to deliver. Enjoy the view and in not too long they'll bring your order.
.
We got lobster rolls and mussels. Big mistake, because then we had two splendid dishes to vie for our attention. The mussels were huge and delicious, but not as winey-garlicky as European preparations are. The rolls were served on soft burger buns, which was unusual for us but let the lobster shine. They were great!
.
This will again be our first stop when we next roll into Maine. It is fantastic.

I love this little hidden gem down by the creek. The service was great at the counter and the wait staff as well. The tables were brightly painted and clean and bathrooms were clean too. I have never been here when there is a large crowd, so I can't speak to the experience at those times.
The food was great - lobster rolls, clam chowder, and coconut shrimp. The family agreed that the chowder had a flavor that was slightly unique, but definitely not objectionable!
My only only complaint its that they do not serve fried clams! It seems like a no brainier money maker to me. I can't ding them a star for that decision however. We will be back!

What a wonderful place! Scenic location on the Chauncey Creek river. We splurged and had a two pound steamed lobster each along with some oysters, shrimp, mussels, and chowder..a seafood feast! Everything was fresh and delicious. BYOB.

First visit to this establishment and won’t be my last! The chowder in a bread bowl was fantastic and the steamed lobster topped it all off. Easy to crack and good sized pieces of meat! Neat little location and plenty of areas to dine. Overall a great experience.

I can't say enough about the wonderful time we had here. The atmosphere is relaxed and jovial. Kids run around being kids and adults sit by enjoying a lobster and shipping their favorite beverage that they brought in themselves. The lobster is the best I've ever had. Hands down, no joke. I had such a great time here at this restaurant that I want to move to Kittery now.

Love it. I only got clam chowder and shrimp cocktail and the chowder was super good. Shrimp was fresh. Next time I will get lobster. It seemed fresh and delicious. Very reasonable price, love the atmosphere, people are nice. Just hard to park-only negative.

The best lobster you will have in your life.
Service is awesome. Skip the soup stick to the clams and lobsters 🦞. You can ask for a quick lobster 101 if this is your first time. Def pin this on your roadtrip to Maine.

Is this the best lobster roll that I’ve ever had? Yes, it just might be.

This place has the perfect set-up on a gorgeous creek. There are tons of picnic tables and seating. The staff is very kind. And the lobster rolls were absolute perfection! They were so fresh and tasty, and most definitely the highlight of the meal, although all the other food was marvelous as well.

I came here as our last stop before heading back to NY for a lobster roll. Ended up buying oysters, clam chowder, corn, and lobster rolls. This place definitely let the meat speak for itself. Lobster was dressed minimally and served on a burger bun. Which surprisingly was great. The crunch from the bun and the soft sweet meat made it a great pairing. Everything we had here was great so go ahead and have a great time. Some benches have tents while others do not. Due to covid everyone has to seat every other bench. Staff is great and we had a great time.

At first it seemed confusing, however reading the signs it was much easier. You go one way if ordering lobsters and other side if you are ordering other food. BYOB, is a neat concept saving money and allowing you to have what you want. I was loving the ocean and seeing kayaks going bye. Opening day is mother's day . I will definitely be going again what a fascinating gem. The food was very yummy.

Really nicely located in water with outdoor picnic benches. Good is outstanding and reasonably priced. Menu what would be expected with lobster, lobster rolls, shrimp, clams, chowder, etc. Grab a table and then counter order give table number. They bring out the food and clear your table. Really chill, fun place.

Beautiful location on Chauncey creek overlooking the creek and rocky tree lined coastal zone. Serves lobsters steamers and hamburgers chips. BYOB and things not served.
