Gary and the staff at Allegiant Physical therapy were knowledgable, friendly, and more than helpful. After months of shoulder pain and lack of movement, Gary was able to work with me to bring my range of movement back to what is typical in a few short weeks. He has set me up with exercises to do now that I have been discharged. I can't say enough about how pleased I am with everyone at Allegiant. While I will continue with my morning routine and exercises, I will miss the atmosphere that Gary and Holly have established! If you're in need of physical therapy, I would highly recommend the personal nature of Allegiant!

Gary and his team are fantastic. I am a 45 year old that had a total hip replacement. I went to Alignment PT not only to recover from my surgery but also to get back to the active lifestyle I was used to years ago. Gary helped me accomplish that goal. I went to Allegiant PT for about 2 months and I’ve got to say that it was an incredibly beneficial experience! Gary is very hardworking and makes sure to talk through the reasoning behind the exercises and routines that are assigned. Additionally, Holly the admin is great about setting up appointments and following up. The client atmosphere is very calm, cool, and collected—I always find myself having great conversations with the people who work there! All around, great service!

I would absolutely recommend Allegiant PT. Gary was very personable and knowledgeable which made working with him a pleasure! After just the first session the exercises and drills he had me perform, the pain I had for months went away! In the next two sessions he helped me to build a foundation of knowledge and structure so I could prevent another injury in the future and get stronger moving forward.

Originally I went in for my knee and after a couple months Gary and Holly were able to decrease my pain completely. The atmosphere they create is awesome. Every is so friendly and talkative. After my knee issue was resolved I asked for some help with other issues I have had over the years and they were so willing to help and were tremendous!!

8 weeks ago I had big toe fusion surgery. The recovery process was a very long. Gary and Brian at Allegiant Physical Therapy made the recovery process easier. Gary was polite, knowledgable, direct, and very thorough. He came up with a very good plan. He explained every exercise and motion, and the effect they had on recovery. I am now pain free and able to do those things I couldn't do before. Holly at the front desk was always happy, helpful, and cheerful. Everyone in the office made you feel welcome. I would recommend Allegiant Physical Therapy for anyone seeking therapy.

Allegiant Physical Therapy helped me recover after my ankle surgery. I did not think I would be able to run again and I am running now! I got my range of motion and my strength back. Gary was great at explaining everything and the purpose of every exercise. The staff are very friendly and the environment is very positive! I highly recommend Allegiant Physical Therapy if you are looking to get back to your everyday activities and see improvements.

When I initially started my physical therapy process I was nervous and uncomfortable using my arm post-surgery. The environment at Allegiant is nothing but friendly and encouraging. Gary and Holly, as well as the other members of the Allegiant crew, are all incredibly nice and helpful. The experience was very personalized, and gave me the confidence to keep pushing through my recovery with a strategically designed range of stretches and exercises targeted around my injury. From my time here, I have regained significant motion in my arm and am looking forward to returning to the gym and the slopes! Thank you Gary for all your help!

I originally came to address one issue in my back but after that issue was mostly fixed, I decided to continue my time with Gary and Holly so they could help me address an older issue that I've had for years. The transition from working on one issue to the other was seamless and I greatly appreciated their flexibility in helping me tackle both problems.
Also, Holly and Gary are great and make PT better than I had expected it to be.

Twice now Gary has helped me with hip and back issues. He is skilled, knowledgeable, and takes time to answer questions. The staff at Allegiant is friendly and helpful and creates a pleasant atmosphere. For any condition that can be addressed by physical therapy, I'd definitely choose Allegiant again.

I went to Allegiant with daily pain and discomfort. But Gary and Holly were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and I now have almost no pain. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone.

As a college student my experience at Allegiant Physical Therapy was beyond amazing! I came in with knee pain and left feeling better than I have in years. I had a chronic injury and had seen multiple physical therapists over several years. Most either misdiagnosed the issue, or did not provide effective treatment. After one appointment with Gary, he had identified the issue and provided effective exercises to fix the issue. My physical health and fitness is a large part of my job, and Gary was able to get me back to where I needed to be. I only wish that I had found Gary sooner.

The environment is great, and Gary does a great job of pushing you. If you have an injury or issue, and you're ready to put the work in to fix it, I could not recommend Allegiant Physical Therapy more.

I am very pleased and satisfied with the results I got from Allegiant Physical Therapy. The atmosphere is welcoming and the recovery programs are injury specific and effective. I have injured my back twice and both times I made a full recovery at Allegiant. The first time around I initially went to a different place in Durham and it was not as effective. Gary is very knowledgeable and proficient with his programs. Holly at the front desk is very friendly and enthusiastic.

Gary is the best! Very knowledgeable, polite, and, most importantly, helpful. I have been going to him for both my shoulder and leg and every time I leave there feeling better. I have been through quite a few physical therapists and this place is by far my favorite. Everyone is so nice and friendly I always genuinely enjoy my time there (which is actually almost every day, so that says something in and of itself). Gary's secretary/assistant, Holly, is also a wonderful person and keeps everything running smoothly. Highly recommended all around!

I went to see Dr. Gary for PT after full knee replacement with Dr. Thomas King. He has been great working with me for strength, mobility and scar care. I am 5 weeks post op and walking strong! Gary also diagnosed my feet pronation issues, and found great shoes for me and is fitting me for orthotics. He pays attention to all details that will help to improve my overall recovery.

The facilities are great; and the atmosphere is very comfortable. It is obvious watching Dr. Gary's other patients how much they respect and appreciate him. And Holly at the front desk is always a friendly and helpful presence.

I came to Allegiant PT as a recommendation from some friends, and I travel from Rochester to see him, even with a more convenient PT facility down the block from me. I have used the other facility, and believe me, the travel is worth it! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Gary DeSmith's Allegiant PT practice!
