Courtyard by Marriott Portsmouth

After a very long road trip of over 1500 miles in one day, I stayed here for a night. The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and very kind. They showed compassion for how tired I was after the long road trip I just took, and were very helpful when I asked for food recommendations nearby. The room was spacious, super clean (and I mean incredibly clean like you would expect from a Marriott standard), bed was comfortable, shower supplies were plentiful, etc... I have nothing bad to say about this place. It was truly great. Thank you so much for the 5-star experience.

We stayed one night, and our room was more spacious than expected! Clean and beautiful. The TV remote didn't really work, not that we used it. The staff was all professional and friendly.

The Courtyard by Marriott Portsmouth staff was awesome. They were helpful, courteous, friendly, clear, and efficient. I had to work with them on a complex issue to get a refund from a third party, and I was actually amazed at their willingness and dedication to help me. The refund was only requested because I could not make the trip anymore and had nothing to do with their hotel. I really appreciated their efficiency, flexibility, and helpfulness.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, plenty of free parking, my room had a small deck with chairs and a table - great to be able to sit outside and get fresh air. There was a nice quiet area with lounge chairs, tables, and a fire pit to sit outside behind the building. Restaurant in the lobby was convenient and food was good. Hotel provides a free shuttle service to downtown Portsmouth in the evening hours - very convenient & easy to use. All the staff was friendly & helpful. Short drive to grocery store. We will definitely stay here again.

Very clean, easy to get in and out of and way cheaper than the in town hotels.

Right off the highway, though still quiet. The rooms were clean, large, and well-stocked. Would absolutely stay here again.

I booked two rooms and they put us side-to-side in a corner, which worked perfectly for us.

Spent a night here on the way to Maine. Very easy to get to as it’s close to the highway. Despite being close to the highway we did not hear any noise from the highway. The lobby area was clean and had a good atmosphere. Our room was clean and quiet. There’s a fitness room available. There is enough parking also. It’s only a couple of miles to the downtown area. Downtown has several restaurants, a few breweries and shopping.

Great prices off season. Nice pool for my kids to enjoy. Staff has always been very friendly and responsive. Easy parking. Outside of downtime but very close drive. Right off 95

We lost power for 3 days due to a terrible ice storm. This place was a blessing.

We have stayed here many times and have had no major problems. The bed is comfortable, the shower is clean and spacious. I want to thank Victoria, who was extremely helpful in mailing items to me that I had left behind in the closet. Thank you, Victoria for your kindness and assistance in returning my personal items!

Great stay. Only was in for one night, but upon arrival got bumped up to a king suite for no extra charge. Plenty of space for two people. Free wifi and free parking. Close to downtown and to Maine beaches, but removed and quiet at the same time. Would definitely stay here again!

Rooms clean and bed was soooo soft. pool was big and fun. Enjoyed my 2 day stay. Thanks GiGi for keeping our room cleans and beds made. Also for the extra makeup wipes. Love the balcony view 😍

Maybe a little dated compared to other Marriott hotels but the staff was outstanding! We stayed during Covid and reserved pool time which was a great release for the kids. Why do I love this Marriott? I accidentally left something pricey behind and didn't realize until the next day. When I called the staff located it and put it aside for me. Great location near downtown AND has free parking.

The beds are extremely soft and comfortable. It felt like a feather pillow top. The rooms are well-appointed with great attention to detail. The staff accommodated my needs and requests, also gave great recommendations. I was able to get in touch with the staff easily using the Bonvoy app. It is conveniently located minutes from downtown Portsmouth. They also have a shuttle that frequently transits to and from downtown. I would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel. Very clean. Friendly and professional staff. This was our third time staying at this Marriott. We have never experienced any issues. Pool was open and limited to one family at a time. Glad to see COVID-19 precautions in place.

Very friendly and professional staff. Pleasant, helpful and very willing to help with any questions you my have. Room was nice size, very clean, which in these times can be hard to find. Nice breakfast choices. Can't wait to come back to stay here.

Very nice hotel, very clean and newly renovated. Great complimentary shuttle service to downtown Portsmouth. Not sure if it's normal but the shuttle was door to door service. Complimentary coffee in the lobby in the morning would have been nice.

Ridiculously amazing service! Everyone was so friendly, nice, and helpful. Thank you for the early checkin given our red eye flight and need to rest before a wedding. The breakfast was delicious and reasonably priced, and the shuttle driver and experience was wonderful. Highly recommend staying here if you're in the Portsmouth area!

Great rooms, clean rooms, front desk staff were very helpful. Shuttle to downtown was free and runs from 3 pm to 10:30 pm.

Visited New Hampshire for a last minute get away. The hotel was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast at the hotel was good and only 9.99 including coffee and juice. They also provide a shuttle service into the town which was fantastic, there was no fighting or paying for parking and I could have a couple drinks and not worry about driving. The parking at the hotel was free. Thanks for a great weekend.
