The setting is cozy, and the staff all seemed friendly.
I have to give praise to Paige, as she did a wonderful job on my haircut.
I usually have anxiety getting my hair cut, and it’s due to bad experiences at other shops in the past. I went in with a mop on my head, and left with a skin fade, that is honestly top notch.
Was greeted at the door by a shop dog by the name of Ollie, and that lil guy was so sweet, and calm.
Thanks Checkers, and thank you again Paige!!

Living in a small town it is amazing that we have this gem right in the heart of it all. The barbershop is so welcoming and offers a a large variety of services. You can't go wrong when choosing checkers for all your hair needs. The customer service here exceeds any place I've taken my son in the past. Thank you for the wonderful work you ladies and gents do!! I highly recommend checking them out if you haven't already!

First I was greeted at the door by an amazing dog, so beautiful and as you would expect, a beautiful coat! Jason took me in and fit me into his tight schedule, gave me a tremendous haircut with lots of time and professionalism utilizing his top shelf equipment. Friendly and warm interaction. Loved the warm soap straight razor neck shave.

Been getting my haircut here for quite a while now. Staff is great, prompt and friendly. Can't reccomend them more. Ryan has been my barber and has been amazing from day 1, but everyone here are just as great! The shop also has a dog that checks in on guests at entry and during service to enforce the friendly and welcoming nature of the place. Just a great, relaxed feel with very talented, hardworking barbers. If you're looking for a new barber, go here!

So welcoming! The staff is very friendly, they have an awesome dog as well. Every time I have been here I have left satisfied and felt secure knowing I can go back and get the same results each time! I highly suggest booking an appointment with Erika as well! Very friendly, loves to chat and is relatable to a lot of things. Its located in a really cute downtown type area right off of 125 in Epping NH so its really convenient if you’ve got some shopping and errands to run before or after your haircut 🙌 GO CHECK IT OUT!

My 5 yr old son is very nervous about haircuts. We let him look at a lot of places online and he decided on Checkers and Jason. I got my hair cut first so he could see and feel more comfortable. Jason did an amazing job on both of us, very detailed, and a fun atmosphere in the shop. So far my son has said several times since we left that he will only go back to Checkers and Jason from now on.

This is a great place to get a good haircut. Pam, who runs the place, is an awesome barber with a fun personality. The vibe in the shop is very comfortable and relaxed. They recently renovated. Adding an upstairs to the existing barbershop. You'll never wait long for a cut here! The other barbers that work their are great at their job. The prices are competitive. You really can't go wrong with coming here. Give it a try!

Recently moved to the area. Found them by accident. Great service, great dog there is something about a business with a well-mannered dog.

Pam is fantastic, my son is a happy but very hyperactive 4 year old with autism. For the last couple years haircuts were absolutely a no go, due to sensory issues he struggles with. Checkers allowed us to visit a few times to ger him comfortable, and finally have cut his hair! He was happy and comfortable through the whole process. Checkers is amazing!

Checkers is one of the best barbershops in New Hampshire. All of the staff of family very professional. They still do the old school straight razor shave. they also doing awesome job with small children. I would definitely recommend stopping in getting a hot shave and a haircut.

After living in NH for 2 years and trying to find just a decent barber which is a challenge, I decided to give Checkers a try but not expecting anything spectacular. I walked in everyone was personable and it was a typical barbershop. I was asked to put my name on the board and Evan said he could take care of me. To my surprise for a guy who has only been a barber a short time, he hooked me up with a haircut that I have been looking for. As DJ Pauly D would say, it’s “Fresh to Death”. I will be a repeat customer and Evan is now my guy for haircuts. I highly recommend this place.

The barbers have all been top notch pro's. This shop has a cool feel. The owner is hands on and a genuinely nice person.. She seems to really genuinely care about all her clients and the community.. I'd highly recommend it..

I’ve been to maybe barbers in NH. None of them can touch the experience that you’ll receive from Checkers. I’ve been going to Checkers since 2016 and they are consistently doing a great job. Willing to try new styles and the owner is a state instructor, so always learning new techniques. Love this shop, give them a try.

This is a good old fashioned style barber shop. There are no gimmicks, and no frills just very competent barbers who give good haircuts at a good price.
