Cravings Wine Bar & Grille

First time here! Complimentary thanks to the chef for cooking up the best dinner for us! Thanks to our server who was patience with us, she explain everything perfectly to us.

We order Calamari and Spicy Mussel. I was expecting to receive a very small portion like other places. BUT the portion was big enough to share it. 10/10

We also order the halibut with rissotto & bouillabaisse. I'm not a fan of super fishy broth, but this broth was perfect! Each spoon of broth that went in my mouth made me want some more. Halibut and rissotto was cooked perfectly, no complaint over here!

Bistro-type atmosphere with fabulous food. We went last night, Wednesday night, with reservation at 5pm. Great timing because we chose mid-week and early so it was not busy. Service was wonderful. 3 of us had the Halibut with Risotto and 1 of us had the Peppered Filet. Excellent. We also ordered a bottle of the Zinfandel recommended by our server. We all enjoyed every minute at Cravings and super happy being our first time there. Thank you Cravings!! Thanks to Chef and Server and everyone else. Delicious. First time in years I was not disappointed in the food. Will be back and always mid-week.

Shahan gave me great service, making sure he understood my order clearly. I am particular and I really appreciate that. The food was amazing. The Gorgonzola dressing is to die for. I had a minor issue and the chef came to my table twice to apologize and make sure it was corrected. Very impressive. Will visit again. I ordered the sirloin steak special with Gorgonzola dressing, Brussels sprouts and fingerling potatoes. Loved every bite.
EDIT: Robert was working very hard to make sure everything in the restaurant was perfect. He had amazing patience and knowledge gaining his fellow employee. Definitely dedicated! Thank you Robert!

I really loved our date night out at Cravings. We used a Groupon for wine flights and added on some calamari. The tomato jam is the best ever! Seriously, they need to sell it by the bucket. A nice selection of a variety of wine, really loved the Cab included in our flights. We will definitely be back for dinner, there are so many gluten free items!

Wow! We enjoyed everything about Cravngs!! The blackened salmon special and the breaded short ribs were delicious with a beautiful presentation! Our server, Mary was delightful! The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable! We definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a nice dinner. We will be going back there!!

Tried them for the first time the other day on a whim. I did not expect to have the best burger I have ever eaten. Not only that, but they make a damn good old fashioned. The only downside was that the service was a little slow, but I don't know if that's a typical thing. Either way the food was well worth the wait.

Really nice atmosphere, great staff, service was excellent. The muscles cannot be missed, the sauce is amazing. The house burger didn't look that impressive, but what it lacked in appearance it far made up for in taste; I don't usually think burgers are that different but this one was on a whole different level, one of the best burgers I've had in a long time.

Will definitely go again. Food and wine is on the pricey side, but the burger was fantastic. Service was excellent.

Do not miss out on this gem of a restaurant! Amazing food, wine and service! You will not be disappointed! If you love seafood, order the Pappardelle Alla Limone. It is to die for! If beef is more your style, the Five Spice Stroganoff is the perfect comfort food that isn’t too heavy. Or try one of their super tasty house ground burgers. They also have vegetarian and gluten free options. The servers are extremely nice and attentive and their wine selection is great, especially if you love red wine. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of their menu items. Don’t even get me started on their homemade desserts! The cakes are huge! I look forward to trying even more of their great selections they offer!

Ordered the Shrimp with Bacon appetizer off the lunch menu. SIX large shrimp, THICK bacon with a super flavorful aïoli 😋Enough for a meal. Fast, friendly service. Highly recommend

We absolutely love this restaurant! Often have the truffle burger with a caesar salad - they both are outstanding. Recently tried the mussels for an appetizer, just delicious. One of my favorite restaurants, I've only had excellent meals at this restaurant! Also one of the few locally owned restaurants in Woodbury.

Very nice! We went here for a late dinner after my daughter chose her wedding dress a few doors down. Very nice place! Love the decor, they had Champagne! Which was nice as well as a very nice wine list & a unique variety of food on their menu. Mom & I chose off the started menu & got the walleye cakes & cheese platter. They were both delicious, I was particularly impressed with the selections of cheese, I added the salami & prosciutto & it was delicious. My daughter a spicy shrimp dish, which she enjoyed & her future mother in law had the pasta special which she enjoyed. All in all we were quite happy, I would definitely go back. Our waitress was quite knowledgeable & very friendly.

Absolutely amazing from beginning to end! Service, appetizers, and main course were awesome! Best filet I have ever had! The blueberry sauce really added to it! The chef did an amazing job! 5 stars all the way! You have to try this place out! You will not be disappointed!

We hadn't been here since well before Covid. The last time was strike three for them until last night. Truffle burger was great and more than enough meat. I had the shrimp pasta and the house salad. The salad had a great light dressing and wasn't floating on it on the plate. The pasta was cooked perfectly, the shrimp as well and only wished I'd had a spoon to scoop up the remaining sauce. Robert did a nice job both mixing cocktails and serving. Overall we had as nice an experience as we used to have. I hope it continues. No it's not cheap and I always comment that there's a difference between eating and dining. Eating is usually cheaper.

This hidden gym is tucked away in a strip mall, but don't let the exterior fool you. It's nicely appointed, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the food is terrific, they have a very nice selection of wines, and the prices are reasonable.

I personally recommend the Carbonara.

This place is absolutely fantastic. The wine menu is very impressive and the cocktails are great as well. There is no shortage of options here. The menu has a great selection and has something for everyone. We had a flight of house wine and got the short ribs and goat cheese ravioli. This place knows how to cook. The desserts are amazing as well and rich. One is definitely enough to share with 2-3 people. We will definitely be back for patio season.

Absolutely LOVE this place. I honestly was blown away by almost everything. Their wine selection is extensive. Cakebread and Caymus by the glass is such a fun little splurge. But if you don’t want to spend that kind of money, they have a lot of my favorite mid-range wines, and a lot of “exotic” choices that I’m excited to try when I return ;) Also the food! Thoughtful, with a great balance of casual and fine dining-type options, DELICIOUS, and just the right amount of creativity. Last but not least, the service is so personal, and relaxed. I never felt rushed, and I was there late, but the server gave me a last call for food so I could order for a member of my group that was extremely late to our reservation (he had valid reasons). The kitchen doesn’t have a hard close and that just put me at ease so I could actually enjoy myself. Cannot overstate how appreciative I am of that kind of experience. Overall, 10/10. Quaint atmosphere, excellent food, incredible wine selection, and amazing service. Can’t wait to go back!
