The Lodge Restaurant

This is a cute little restaurant! We were greeted right away when we entered the door and was seated right away! Our drinks and menus were brought to us immediately! The waitress came and got our order pretty fast! Our food came out really fast! It was very hot! My husband ordered the biscuits and gravy special which came with eggs and hash browns, I ordered a scramble special. It was two scrambled eggs and your choice of three items, I picked bacon, onions and green peppers, and also toast came with that! Both our orders were delicious! I usually don't order hash browns with my breakfast because I like them crispy, I wish I would have ordered them this morning, my husband was wonderful! Despite the fact that there was a large table of 12 people our order still came out pretty fast and so did theirs! Not too expensive either!

We had a great experience! This place is definitely a hole in the wall - you wouldn’t expect as good of food and service from a small place attached to a motel. Nonetheless, biscuits and gravy were delightful, very hot coffee, and a great waiter. Will be going back.

Stopped here in June 2023 on a long family nostalgia trip and were superbly treated to a delicious meal in a cosy clean environment that was quiet enough to carry on a conversation. Service was fast and polite and I would eat here every day if I could.

We love dining at the Lodge! The staff all are so very down to Earth and friendly. The food is definitely home made and delicious. The desert chef always has something new to try.

You just can’t go wrong here.

The Lodge is an integral part of our Sunday as well as other days of the week. We would sorely our miss our experiences at the lodge if it was no more. Best wishes in finding a suitable location. Kathleen and Roger

There are some loyal locals who LOVE this place! WE DO TOO! The food all has that homemade touch and all the food is fresh and good! The chicken fried steak is EXCELLENT on Sundays. The staff is very quick, responsive, accomodating, and very helpful. Try the coffee and the fresh squeezed orange juice. The toast is amazing and cooked how grandma would make it.

We usually stop here for breakfast if we are in town. The food is delicious, service is great and we never leave hungry.

The food was fabulous! I had the corn beef hash, sunny eggs on top with wheat toast, buttered on both sides...delish! 😄🥰 The service was spectacular and we were fortunate enough to have Kimberly help us. We left there feeling like old friends that had had a meal at each others home. Thank you Kimberly! 😍🤩 I highly recommend stopping in at "The Lodge" in Kearney, Nebraska.

If you enjoy good food in a friendly old fashioned atmosphere this is a go to place.
Be sure to check if they are open they have somewhat abbreviated hours.

Eggcellent omelets. Tasted like fresh ingredients made from scratch. Real cozy "down stairs" atmosphere. Wish I could come here more often to see what else is good but we were just passing through town and couldn't stay. No dogs allowed, though.

First time in a restaurant since this Wuhan Flu stuff has hit. Truck broke down and staying at the hotel next door. Great Bacon Cheeseburger with fried Mac & Cheese. Gonna go back for dinner. 😁

Great little hole in the wall type of diner! I came here today for breakfast. The waitress was friendly, the food was reasonably priced and it came out in a timely matter. I was even surprised that the bacon was thick and cooked just right and not paper thin like most places. I will definitely come back again!

All your favorite comfort foods, served in a nice local venue.

Great vittles. Staff was kind and courteous. I'VE never received a bad meal there. Their chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steaks are great and top off the meal with a generous hunk of pie, which they have quite a variety of

We were 4 tired women bowlers looking for a sit down breakfast, coffee, before heading home. Tried other places, waiting lines too long. Found The Lodge on Google maps. What a neat place. Plenty of help. Good service. Our meals were great, coffee kept coming. So glad we found you. We would come back.

I love The Lodge. Never fails to supply a delicious breakfast. My go-to favorite is the scramble with a variety of mix-ins; it's delicious. Bloody Mary, yes please. Coffee, of course! I would eat here daily. The staff know customers by name too. So, so good.
