Whiskey Creek Wood Fire Grill

We stopped for dinner on our way back to Chicago from Colorado and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The salty peanuts were a delightful start while waiting for the wait staff, followed by delicious freshly baked bread as a starter. The food quality was great, and the prices were very good considered the dinning quality. I ordered the Brisket, and my family enjoyed their choices as well. The portions were satisfying too.

We found this during our tavels and stopped for lunch on our way back to Colorado. I am glad we did.
The wait staff was very friendly and the food was great. The side salad was awesome and cut in nice neat small pieces. Next time, I will order a large one.
This would be a great spot to watch the game!

My wife and I ordered the Bacon wrapped Shrimp on rice with steamed broccoli and a baked potato. I liked the broccoli, unlike most places they had butter and spices on the broccoli. I thought the baked potato was really good also. The Bacon wrapped Shrimp was very good.
Our waitress was really nice and the restaurant was not crowded.

Stopped at the Whiskey Creek Wood Fired Grill in Kearney, NE on our way from Iowa to Colorado. Located just north of I-80 on 2nd Ave. The brisket (we got the same meal) came with 2 sides, and the brisket was VERY tender. We both REALY likes the beans, and yeah ... we travel this road to Colorado for vacation and will go out of our way to dine here again.

The meals - 5 stars.
Cleanliness ... 4 stars (men's room had lots of paper on the floor.)
Our waiter - 5 stars.

I thought all the Whiskey Creeks were gone. I was soooo excited to have that bread and cinnamon butter. And those bacon wrapped shrimps are delightful

Excellent food cooked to perfection. Everything tasted great and I would highly recommend this place to anyone who likes good food.

Very good atmosphere food and service. Me and my friend went in and got seated right away and attended to immediately upon being seated. Now that being said if we would have went a little later it might have been different because we went in when there was just a couple of cars on the lot. Food did take a little bit longer to come out for us because other people did start coming in and ordering before us because we always have to take 15 minutes to decide what we want even though we know what we want lol. I got the prime rib and my mouth was watering for it until I ordered it the wrong way but still absolutely delicious 😋. Appetizer and drinks exactly the same superb. Will go back another time. Thank you all for your hard work and service. You are greatly appreciated.

After a long day traveling in icy cold weather the french dip with au jus and salad was delicious. They also give a small loaf of bread with honey butter....so good...hit the spot!
The staff was warm and accommodating, the atmosphere was lovely...I was cold / tired and the Christmas tree was welcoming while I waited for my take out.
I will go back next time I pass through! : )

Classic steak restaurant. Not so many peanut shells on the floor anymore - you put the shells in an entry bucket. We had the smoked prime rib and it was mouth watering! Warm bread and sweet butter and house salads. Loved it!

Our host who seated us was very friendly and courteous.Jessica our server was great and very nice. My salad was to die for very very fresh .OMG I ordered chicken fried chicken with a loaded baked potato it was definitely delicious my wife ordered steak she was extremely pleased with her choice. Definitely worth stopping in to eat

I ordered the salmon with a baked potato and broccoli, and it was amazing. My waitress was friendly, checked with me often, and made sure I had what I needed when I needed it.

Wow!! Stayed next door, so tired after a long day of driving and sightseeing; but eating here was well worth it!! Waitress was really nice & attentive, food was very good. One of us had the chicken avocado salad and raves about it. Chicken pasta was a huge hit. Ribs were fall off the bone! Definitely worth a repeat

Best Prime Steak I have ever had! Now being 40+ & spouled trying a few as a truck driver across this great continent, this is saying alot! "Thank You".....

12-5-2021 Oh boy what a place. Visiting from Minnesota and found a great place to eat. I had the prime rib sandwich with all the trimmings.
I must say it was quite good.
Some really cold tap beer also.

Stopped in here four years ago and had the wood-fired bacon wrapped shrimp. stopped here the last two nights before getting back on the road and the shrimp is STILL the best anywhere. Gentleman next to me got the wood-fired salmon tonite...I will be getting that on my next trip through!! It looked and smelled amazing.

Whiskey Creek catering was amazing. Had them cater my wedding reception, prime rib and half smoked chickens. Guest praised the food all night long.

The food was delicious. The bread they bring you is so good esp the honey butter or whatever it is it's amazing. The atmosphere fits like a western theme really cool inside.
Cannot say enough about the service. The girl who waited on us was super friendly and very nice also super fast and accurate. Total package with service. Thank you!!!!

First time visiting. Great food and service. Reasonably priced. Will definitely come back when I'm in the area again.

I got the pulled pork sandwich, and my friend got a ribeye. My friend ordered the ribeye medium rare, but when it was delivered to the table it was still mooing! The meat on my sandwich was dry, like it had been overcooked and the French fries were limp/soggy. But, our waitress was very good!

Enjoyed my healthy sweet potato and broccoli. The waiter was very helpful. Doing some cement work outside so getting in was ok but not great and had sound of jack hammers. I am sure the work will be completed in a timely manner.
