Marcus Hillside Cinema

This is a basic theater with zero of the upgrades that the other theaters have... that being said, it's still my favorite. I love that it's not jammed packed with tons of people and when I buy our snacks, I'm not waiting in line forever. Without all the upgrades, it's still better than watching a movie at home.

This place is a little older and the theater we are in didn’t have the dream lounger seats…but… it wasn’t crowded, we were able to get tickets last minute for the movie wanted and that is what really counts.

Close to home. Usually easy to get a ticket online or at the theater. Bathrooms are clean and handy. Theaters are all clean. If one sits close to one of the remote speakers, especially way up in the back, the peripheral sounds interfere with the dialogue. Overall, great experience each time. Don't usually use lounge seating, brings on sleep. Waiting in lines means to me a good business attracts crowds.

Wednesday evening was very quiet, only 8 people in the movies we went to. Quick through the line and getting snacks. Great night out with the family!

I love this Theater it may not have the famous leather recliner chairs that everyone Obsesses over. but it is a great little theater with great service and it's an Equally great experience compared to the big boy theaters. and I would know because I'm there pretty much every Tuesday. really my only complaint is that the popcorn has been vary Stale several times I've gotten it. Otherwise I will always continue to come back for many new and great movie experiences.

Great theater. The employees are very kind. It's clean and they serve great concessions. You also can't beat a $5 Tuesday night movie ticket. I love reserved seating. They also play classic movies occasionally.

This quaint little theater is the perfect place to watch Movies! Very fun and nice staff always on their toes to aid and accommodate guest, I can't imagine going to any other theater. Ran by great management as well! Will be going to this theater for the rest of my life :)

A tornado knocked the power out about 2/3rds into the movie, but otherwise a great experience.

Busy today, so popcorn was fresh! 4 of us = +$60.

11/4/22 Senior prices until 5pm, 2 x $6.30= $12.60. They also had a Senior Special, $3.00 popcorn and $3.00 soda (pop for those of you not from the area). So, a great deal for about $25!! We saw Ticket to Paradise with Julia Roberts and George Clooney. Delightful!!

Majestic was packed and sold out so went to the Hillside and we were pleased there were no lines and plenty of seating on Christmas.

Love this "little" cinema! It's not really little, but compared to others in the area such as the Majestic, it is a bit smaller. The staff is friendly. The theater is clean and the restrooms were decent. Good selection of movies. I've been here with my family several times now over the years and I've never had any issues.

I arrived at the theater shortly before the movie started. My general experience was around par. It was a little warm, the general staff were reasonable, and the environment was fairly well kept. However, the primary reason I give my experience a 5 over something like a 3 is solely because of the service of a worker by the name of Jason. I ordered my food from him and immediately noticed how much more efficient and complimentary his service was in comparison to any other worker. He always kept a smile on his face and treated me and my friends with perfect etiquette. Due to Jason’s phenomenal service, I am happy to say I will be returning to Marcus theaters again to be greeted by the service of Jason... hopefully with a pay raise😉

A friend and I went to a movie on 8/3 and it seemed to be pretty busy and maybe a little understaffed. The individuals that were working were working HARD and there were plenty of people that weren't so understanding. So thank you to the staff that night for navigating the busy hours as well as you did. movie was great and so was the food.
