Arsenal City Tavern

Really great pub food. We had a burger that was delish with bacon cheese and red onion. At least a half pound. (half for lunch tomorrow!) Also a Philly Cheese Steak and Triple Ruebin. All excellent. A Thai Chili boneless wing appetizer was also great.
Friendly people too. The owner, Dan, spent a lot of time with us telling us about his menu offerings, brunch menu and of course the Superbowl deals. He's very excited about his establishment.
Their wing prices are incredible. Everyday just $14.00, 1.16 per wing net and they serve a dozen. Can't beat it and on Wednesdays just 50 cents a wing.
Great local bar with back room dining, gas fireplace and lots of Tv's in bar area.

There were 25-30 of us that came after a funeral. We each ordered individual means from the menu. Dan didn't miss a beat!! Our meals ALL arrived timely. Drink orders were replenshed timely. The staff was happy, friendly. Dan saw us before leaving and asked how everything was, it was FABULOUS and IMPRESSIVE!!

A great place with great food and even better staff. I visited from Canada and was treated so well. I highly recommend visiting Dan and his staff if you're ever in Albany. You won't be disappointed.

The food was great! Prices are fair and our waitress was excellent. It was kind of slow but there were a few tables and people sitting at the bar. We were in and out within an hour. I'd recommend trying their wings they were cooked perfectly! We also got a pulled pork sandwich and ruben which were also very good. More than enough for leftovers

Went there for a private party in a party room. Room was sent up beautifully. The pizza, wings, warm pretzel with pub cheese, Irish coffee, and other cocktails were delicious great place

Pleasantly surprised. Seemed like a place people come for the drinks, not the food. Service was friendly, menu was creative, food was delicious, portion sizes were great.

Had a very nice dinner here with friends and family, the service was great, food was fast and their shrimp and spinach salad was delicious. Would definitely like to come back to this place again. Great job!

We love it here!!! The food is so good and great prices. Theres always some kind of event or special and the service is awesome.

Came here for a gathering after funeral services. It was perfectly intimate and private for our party. The food and service were really great!

Food is always great and the service is friendly. The owner plans several fun events that are always worth checking out.

My daughter and family took me out for my birthday the atmosphere was friendly and food was prepared well

Food is decent and the servers are nice. However it's a bunch of young good looking kids and they were more interested in each other which is understandable, I remember being that age,lol. If the servers were older I would have rated them a little bit lower. Anyway, the clientele was a mix of young and old and very diverse. Everyone there were super friendly at the bar.

Always get the chicken fingers and Cannon fries and they are always absolutely delicious!

My husband and I work across the street at the Watervliet Arsenal and have been here many times for takeout lunch or a working lunch and we've never had anything we didn't like, I personally prefer the grilled buffalo chicken salad!

My friends and I go there whenever we can. They don't rush us and the food is always great. Dan always comes to the table and asks how we are and was everything OK. The waitresses are great and keep coming back to see if we need anything.

Friend's daughter's recommendation had us arrive for lunch into a lively bar area to sit in a second room near a warming fire. The menu offered interesting fare but for the first visit I enjoy trying a standard to compare.
New London was a generous haddock presented in a crispy flavorful pocket of well seasoned crunch. Sweet potato fries also stood up with a crispy hello. Both the tartar and horseradish sauces were just right.
Attention was timed well even with the happy bartender asked to wait on us.
Ladies, enjoying themselves was a healthy gathering of middle-aged men who came in and out from the Arsenal.
A great place to enjoy relaxing or working. Let's keep this place on our schedules.

Burgers were cooked perfectly. Loved the fries and side of gravy.

Good value food drink and dine. Have multiple specials to help out during tougher times.

We had a 60th bday party of 30+ people, they were unreal! Food was great, service was great- everything was perfect.
