Hida Hibachi & Japanese Restaurant

Amazing place to eat, highly reccomend eating outside! They have a full garden with insanely tall bamboo and giant koi pond. The waitress even gave us a small cup of fish food to feed them! Got to wall around the grounds while waiting for the food so the wait didn't even feel like we waited! Good prices for bentos and they offer hibachi as well of course!

The staff came by my office and offered samples of their food. It was really good, so we decided to order a couple more times and was not disappointed. Definitely reccomend if you're in the area.

My go to place for lunch during week, regardless of weather. It's comfortable inside during colder days and beautiful outside by the Koi pond during warmer times. It's usually pretty quiet during lunch time throughout the week which I enjoy as I get attentive service, quick delicious food, and my check as soon as I ask for it.

I usually get the bento box, chicken teriyaki, Katsu, or shrimp tempura but have had seasame chicken, chicken pad Thai, California, philly and avocado rolls during my multiple visits and have always enjoyed each dish!

I mean honestly? If you're like me and work in Valhalla- a place that is basically devoid of life and options- pickings are slim; but Hida manages to give me something to look forward to when I want to sit down and enjoy my lunch break vs Wendy's drive-thru which is great when I want to be an unhealthy fatty that shoves baconator fries down my throat to combat an abnormally tough day and I'm crunched for time.

TL;DR: place is beautiful inside and out, service is great, food is tasty and prices are affordable. Definitely a great place to take friends for hibachi, a date to impress or to eat by your lonesome!

Great service. They brought us sake bombs to the table on the house. They poured sake on us (all over us - could've been aimed more prudently, I was soaked after). The server was in great spirits and very friendly. Food was good.

Stopped by on a road trip to Boston from NY. Food is excellent, staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Our server Dong Woo hooked us up with some excellent food recommendations. They have a beautiful garden in the back with a pond, bridge, and waterfall. This place is excellent would be happy to stop by again!

Went for a business lunch. Great place to entertain business clients. The food was very good, however more important was the ambiance. The cooks put on a great show, juggling the knives and other cutlery. The steak was excellent, so if you are not into sushi there is still plenty for you.

The steak was perfectly cooked. The staff was very kind and engaging. The entertainment value was awesome. The scallops were the star of the show in my opinion. I recommend this place as the best hibachi restaurant ever.

Food was excellent as was the staff. The chef put on a great show . The garden and koi pond out back are a great place to walk around after your meal. I miss the ribs they used to have on the menu but everything else was delicious

Great Japanese Steakhouses. I ordered the steak and shrimp dish. Hibachi chefs are entertaining as they perform a show while preparing your food. I recommend making a reservation especially if you will be dining with a group and would like to be seated at the same table.

Theew a SURPRISE birthday party for Maria here, her 50th. It was fantastic. Staff was great. They made use feet at home. Everyone felt comfortable. We stayed for over 3 hours and they took many pictures. Great time. Great food. Will keep going...

Went there tonight with my son, celebrated a birthday and could not have had a better experience.
The place is beautiful, the food was so fresh and delicious, and we were greeted by Diana, a wonderful host who made us feel right at home.
We will definitely be going back. Thanks to all at Hida for a wonderful night!

They give you noodles and fried rice with your hibachi but the fried rice costs $3/person in addition to what you're paying for your meal. The food is good so everything is worth the price you pay for it. No sake squirts in the mouth when the hibachi chef is cooking but that's okay because this place is kid friendly so I respect that. The garden in the back of the restaurant is the perfect place to take an evening stroll after you're done with your meal.

Loved the way the cook prepares the food; the interaction with the clients, the attention from the hostess, waiters and else. Is just the Long Island Iced Tea is way over rated and way too expensive for what you get. Other than that, I loved it and enjoyed it.

My wife and I love this place. Everything on their menu is EXCELLENT!!! Wide variety of dishes to select from. Very reasonable prices. All staff members very courteous and friendly. I definitely recommend this place.

This is a great , family friendly restaurant ... they gave my children fish pellet's to feed the fish in the pond they have in the back of their place... its beautifully built and very pretty atmosphere.. nice staff.. my family goes here every year for my mothers birthday...

The restaurant is under new management as of June, we stopped by with the groupon recently and had a really good time. David helped us decide on what to order and tried to help us get the best out of our deal, he was a very friendly person. We came here on a date night and got the spicy crab rolls with crunch, the Dolsot Bibimbap, Chicken Terriyaki, and the green tea tiramisu. Both of our meals came with miso soups and David even gave us a complimentary house salad! The food was tasty and came out in a timely manner. And the ambiance of the restaurant is very calm and we enjoyed our time there, as the staff were all very attentive to our needs. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for an Asian restaurant that carries a variety of Asian dishes from Korean to Japanese. They even have a hibachi side for people who enjoy those kinds of things.

Amazing food great staff great everything... this restaurant is hard to find on the road, but it's amazing when you get there, it's like finding something important which was right in front of you the whole time. I've been here 4 times and I love it. Thank you
