Best salon in the Capital Region, they do hair unbelievably well at fair prices. Professional, friendly, accommodating, talented staff; clean, accessible, comfortable, well-stocked shop. Although I love Stacey, everyone here is a super, top-notch stylist, you will have a good experience with anyone you work with. This may sound like an over-the-top review, but I'm very fussy about my hair, cut and color have to be on-point for work. Christopher Brian Salon hasn't let me down yet!

Danesca is fabulous. Before coming here, I was skeptical of any stylist touching my hair after some bad experiences of going too short than I wanted. Danesca took my input and does exactly what I want for my hair. Very nice salon too. Will continue to get my hair trimmed here - just wish I had half the post-cut styling ability Danesca has in between visits.

The best salon experience! Christopher has done my hair a few times now and I already feel like he knows me so well. I explain what I am looking for and show him a quick picture and he just totally gets it. He even suggested something extra for the haircut this last appointment based on my initial request and it came out absolutely stunning - nothing I would have ever been able to ask for, not knowing what looks good on me. Now I know! The atmosphere is welcoming, friendly and fun! Everyone is so nice and conversations flow so easily throughout the salon. It’s not a dreaded salon visit when I go, unlike other salons I’ve been to where it’s too loud, too busy or just takes up my whole day. It’s actually an enjoyable, calming experience at his salon. The prices are reasonable as well for the high level of skill and professionalism!

The BEST salon experience. I got a big cut and am so happy with the results. Toni knew exactly what to do and did a great job at asking me what I wanted. I brought a pic of what I wanted and my hair ended up looking even better than the picture! Highly recommend

Christopher is a great hair stylist! He did a beautiful job with my daughter hair that wasn’t the ñ best shape and she ends up with a beautiful, healthy and shiny hair and with a huge smile in her face. He listen to what my daughter wanted to do to her hair and taking in consideration that, he work in the best possible way to pleased her and do what is was the best way to go to fix her hair. Thank you for your professionalism, patience, caring understanding .. I very much enjoyed my visit here and my haircut by Stacy came out great. The entire staff seem very nice and welcoming. Stacy gave my hair a nice trim and even out cut after carefully listening to what I was looking for and she had some great coloring suggestions. It's a very pleasant space. The only minor suggestion I would have is for the lighting to be a bit more flattering, especially for a more mature clientele, I felt the ceiling lights were a bit harsh 🙂

Tommy is amazing. I came here for the first time for a big chop due to some heat damage and my hair never been better. Tommy makes you feel very comfortable and has ton of patience. I recommend this salon and her to everyone.

Christopher Brian Salon is the BEST salon I have ever worked with. I have had some very bad hair experiences in the past and I was skeptical about trying a new salon when it was recommended to me by a friend 6 years ago. I was afraid to get my hair colored again after it had been fried years ago. However, after that one experience, I will never go to any other salon. Christopher is such a skilled hair dresser and he takes time to carefully train his employees. You truly feel like you matter in his salon and you always leave looking and feeling amazing! I only recommend his salon to anyone looking for a new hair dresser! I love Christopher Brian Salon!

I have been getting my hair done by Christopher at Christopher Brian Salon for the past 7 years and continue to do so even after moving out of the area. Christopher and the whole team are all so talented, personable, and engaged in continued education. The salon is very clean and always being updated. I feel very confident in Christopher and his team’s ability to achieve my blonde hair goals while maintaining and promoting the health of my hair. Highly recommend.

I showed a picture of what I was looking for in a new color/style. He was so professional and polite...such a Talent! I left feeling so attractive with gorgeous silky hair. I found my new home! Christopher has been cutting and coloring my hair for the past four years, and I'll never go anywhere else. He's truly talented at what he does and his salon is beautiful. After years of jumping around from hairstylist to hairstylist, I'm so happy I found this place!

Absolutely the best experience I've had at a salon in years! All the staff are fabulous, especially Chris the owner! They know all the latest techniques and make it such an enjoyable time! I can't wait to go back and bring my sister with me, so she can feel like a new person, too! The atmosphere is so chic and inviting. You are missing out until you visit here! No place else like it in the Capital Region!

A few months back I made the decision to to find a new colorist. It was with trepidation that I made that decision, as I am a dark brunette turned blonde and understood the pitfalls if the wrong hands were chosen. So I did my research--checking out who’s who, credentials, asking for recommendations, etc. Indeed there are several good salons in the Capital District, with fine hair stylists, but I limited the short list to those who had a reputation of having special expertise in color.

I chose Christopher Brian salon in Troy and I feel so fortunate that I did. Not only is Christopher, the owner, a superb colorist but after going to him for a several months now, my hair is noticeably thicker and less brittle. And the best litmus test: I am getting lots of compliments.

The rest of the Christopher team is also first-rate. As I was waiting for my foils to take hold, I watched while one of the other stylists cut her customer’s hair. The end result was something out of a magazine and perfectly suited to the customer.

I can’t say enough about Christopher Brian Salon. I’ve been going to this salon for a few years now and have truly found a home here. Christopher and his entire staff are professional and talented. The salon is immaculate and tastefully done. It’s obvious they love what they do. Best of all, they are the friendliest group ever. If you’re looking for a new salon, this is the one.

Desziree was wonderful. I had a great experience! I’m the type that gets nervous about having my hair done, especially with a different stylist (used to go to another salon), but she was very laid back and easy-going.
She listened to exactly what I wanted, and did what I asked for, which I don’t think is easy because my directions usually aren’t clear enough most of the time. Other stylists tend to overdo the highlights on me. My hair responds quickly to bleach so I end up with white streaks but she was very careful to keep my hair a dimensional blond.
I will definitely go back to Deziree next time. I’m glad that I’ve found someone I can trust with my hair.

Christopher Brian Salon is amazing! The service is wonderful and the staff is fun and energetic. My hair has never looked better. I have been coming here for about 5 years. I never knew my hair could look so good!
