I called the salon to make a last minute appointment for my five year old son for a haircut. They were awesome and got him in that same day at noon. The salon was beautiful and clean. Tori was so kind and patient with my son. She didn't make me feel as though she was rushing through his cut just to get to the next client. She took her time and his haircut came out so good. I definitely recommend this salon but most importantly Tori. We already have our next appointment scheduled with her for Nov.

I have been going to Kaitlyn Beck for a while now, the co-owner. She did my hair way before she even became the boss babe/ salon owner that she is today ! The atmosphere is welcoming, cozy, and girly. The vibes from all of the other staff are nothing but friendly. Kaitlyn turned my hair from blue black to the blonde I've always dreamed of. We did it slow and healthy as you can see from the attached photos! The blonde that other stylists would off bat say "That's not realistic for your natural hair color". Kaitlyn specializes in blondes, but also excels in all other aspects of hair and makeup artistry. 10/10, I'm confident in saying that the dollhouse will feel like your 2nd home :)

I have known Kaitlyn for years and she is the most amazing stylist! I never leave disappointed or without absolutely loving my hair. Even though she is super busy, she is always so accommodating with my work schedule. The salon is extremely clean and they use very high quality products. All of the stylists and technicians are super friendly and knowledgeable!

I have been coming to the Dollhouse for about 4 months now for both my hair and eyelash extensions. From start to finish I feel safe and comfortable with the COVID protocols they have in place. I see Tori for my eyelashes and she is INCREDIBLE. Prior to coming to the Dollhouse, I went elsewhere for my lashes and it was time consuming and painful. Tori is beyond talented, she is efficient and there is no pain! Being fairly new to coloring my hair, co-owner Kaitlyn listened to what I wanted and personally matched me with a stylist that best fit the vision I had for my hair. Let me tell you, Chelsea did NOT disappoint. She listened to what I wanted and walked me through each step to make sure I was comfortable. My hair turned out better than I could have even imagined! All of the ladies at the Dollhouse are friendly and welcoming from the moment you walk in the door, regardless of it you are seeing them for services or not. The level of professionalism shown at this salon sets them apart from other salons. I would recommend this salon to anyone for any of their services!

Bar Beauty/The Dollhouse is awesome and extremely professional! I have gotten colored, cut, and hair extensions here. They are upfront and honest about pricing and their pricing reflects the job the perform. They consult with you and make sure they are giving you exactly what you want and ask for. I have zero complaints. They are a woman owned, local business and I am proud to support them. Kaitlyn is very knowledgeable and when I got extensions she matched my hair color PERFECT to the extensions and gave me so many tips on how to keep them in tact and long lasting. She makes you feel super comfortable. Can’t say anything but great things about this place!

Julie, Melanie and the whole team were absolutely amazing!! My wedding party looked flawless. I was blown away by My look. The entire experience was incredible. They’re so accommodating, understanding and just amazing to work with. I will never use another glam team. THANK YOU!!!

I used Beauty by Julie for my wedding day and could not have been happier! My husband and I got married in VT, and they were able to travel to us. We had Melanie, who did a wonderful job both on my hair and makeup and the hair for my bridesmaids. She understood my vision and was willing to work with me. Beauty by Julie was so easy to work with, and responded quickly to my many questions leading up to the big event. I'm so glad that I was able to work with Melanie for my special day! Highly recommend!!

Julie is so wonderful!!! From the moment we met at my trial session, I knew that Julie was the perfect person to make me look my very best on my wedding day. She was open to and supportive of every idea I had, adding genius suggestions that can only come from experience and passion for what she does. On the wedding day itself, she and her partner were friendly and relaxed, while perfectly keeping our schedule. It was the best I could have possible hoped for, and even our photographers were amazed by their work and professionalism!

Such a beautiful salon in a great location. You are always greeted right as you walk in the door! I’ve been there multiple times for both my hair and eyelash extensions. Kaitlyn and Tori are both amazing and listen to what you really want. I’ve always had difficulty dying my hair and ever since going there my hair has never been healthier or longer. Highly recommend!!

Marykate has been working her magic on my hair for a few years now, so when she started at the Dollhouse, I of course followed her there. She and the rest of the girls do truly amazing work! You can see for yourself on their social media platforms. Marykate never disappoints and I am always getting compliments on my hair (even when I am way overdue for an appointment!). The salon is beautiful and clean. I cannot recommend this salon enough!

I recommend all my friends and family to come here! First of all it is the cutest salon I have ever seen and always very clean. All of the staff is friendly and welcoming from the moment you step in the door! I've been getting my hair done by Kaitlyn now for years and her work is amazing I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair!

I had Julie and Melanie come to the motel my family and I were staying at to do my hair and make up for my engagement photoshoot. These ladies are fabulous!! Julie was very responsive and attentive through the planning process! They asked me what I was looking for and used my Pinterest board to help achieve the look I wanted! They were super friendly and professional! My hair and make up lasted the two hour drive to the photoshoot and throughout the rest of the day!

Julie is the go to makeup artist in the Albany area. I never wear makeup and she was able to figure out exactly what I wanted without me having to know a thing about makeup. Even with a full face of wedding makeup, I felt natural and beautiful. She will work with you during your trial and redo options as many times as needed to make sure everything looks perfect. Our wedding photographer commented to me just before our reception that he has never seen a bride’s makeup look so perfect that late into the day, especially since there was an absolute downpour outside and we managed to take some creatively placed outdoor photos! I would highly recommend her for weddings, proms, or any special event!

The dollhouse beauty bar is such a cute salon in Troy! All the girls there are super nice and have great hair skills. I am also a hair stylist, so I am overly picky. The co owner kaitlyn has done my makeup multiple times for events & photoshoots. Every time I get multiple complements! Both hair and makeup in 1 shop is the perfect stop for any event, wedding or photo shoot. Highly recommend

The salon is so cute, all of the stylists are friendly and sweet. Alyssa has been doing my hair since mid last year and I love it every single time. I drive 40 minutes to get to my appointments and it’s more than worth it!

A peice of New York City in upstate NY! Super clean, modern, and an at home feeling as you walk in the door. Kaitlyn, Lauren and Tori are amazing, super sweet and know what they are doing! My hair is gorgeous because of Kaitlyn! Very professional! Educated and passionate! Best beauty bar you'll find!
