Hudson Valley Community College

Both of my kids started here when they were each 16 years old and they each have had a great experience. Through a 24-credit program, my son completed his senior year of high school and his freshman year of college all at once. He continued on to graduate with his Associates degree, then transferred to SUNY Albany, where he will graduate with his Bachelors degree next term.

My daughter started her freshman year at HVCC and will graduate with her Associates degree this term.

The cost savings of community college along with the benefit of taking their first year or two to really figure out what they wanted to do before spending big bucks at a highly-priced University, definitely made a lot of sense to us. I'm so glad we took this route and I highly suggest more parents and students look into this option. Especially if you don't want a hefty student loan to pay back!

HVCC has grown tremendously throughout the years. It's so much more than just a community college... with unlimited learning opportunities and enriching life experiences, the possibilities are endless!

The staff that operates and maintains this campus is excellent. Our company services a few hundred sites in NYC and the surrounding area and HVCC's staff is by far some of the best I hae had the privilege to work with!

Always a good time cheering on the Valley Cats. Great affordable outing, & nice to see many families enjoying an American tradition. Must go!!

Professors are great. Discount movie tickets. I took chemical dependency and Brian Farr is by far the best professor I have ever had. He is invested in his position and very passionate about the field. The campus is designed nicely and classes are priced fairly. Highly recommend.

I loved studying science classes here!! The staff is extremely helpful, and the professors are some of the best teachers I have ever had. It was also a joy playing cello on the concert series; great hospitality!! All the best, Will Hayes, cellist

School is Great! Teachers are very helpful and smart. There is a good selection of classes to take. Students are pretty friendly and mind their business. One of the best decisions i ever made was going here.

Excellent educational institution! I have hired a recent graduate RDH and her knowledge is outstanding. How fortunate us dentists are to have you in our community so I can offer my patients state of the art, proficient dental healthcare. Thanks 🙏

Professors are great. Security is fabulous, just a phone call away or door away. During Covid everything is setup way better than hospitals lol. I applaud thier efforts.

A great place to watch a ballgame. The seats are inexpensive and the talent on the field is pretty good. Visit the Valley Cat's at the Joe

GREAT school, love the professors, and love the campus. 2 years here and I feel like i got what I came here for :D the work load depends on the teacher, so no slacking off, it may be a community college, but they don't play around. It's your money anyway.

Went to the garden show today 3/25/22. Lots of great exhibitors. Worth the visit.

A lot of good people there, both now and historically. I have met many alumni.

Enrolled in the Digital Media program here, and for the price is extremely worth it. Would highly reccomend for anyone who’s not trying to live their entire life in debt.
