My experience with Wineexpress has been fantastic. Over a two year period I have placed 3 orders for a difficult to find wine/vintage and they are very prompt in processing and shipping. On the most recent order there was an issue with the bottles which may have occurred during shipping, unsure of the cause. I contacted Customer Service and Rebecca was responsive and extremely helpful. Wineexpress stood by their guarantee and made it right within 5mins time. Called to order 4 bottles of Silver Oak being sold at a Thanksgiving holiday special price. Given a time crunch, I asked if I could pick it up at the warehouse. Was not overly thrilled with my first purchase made on this site... but the wine did improve with age... Have always really enjoyed the Oakville wines in Napa, and ordered a case of the 2018 XANTHOS Cabernet. Arrived in two days, opened the first bottle and it REALLY exceeded our expectations! A great bargain at the case price! I will become a more active customer from now on!!!

Started getting emails from these folks when I shopped a sister site. Saw a video-tasting of a cab that looked promising. Very disappointed with what I got, dumped the first bottle I opened, thinking it was an old one I had held too long. Reviews by other buyers of this wine confirm my impression. The review was quite deceiving. One needs to be able to trust when spending $40/bottle. Will never do business with these folks again.

Update: Soon after I posted the above, I was contacted by telephone and given a full refund. Wine Express has a satisfaction guarantee and I'm impressed that they responded quickly and made things right. Will likely give them another try when it's time to re-stock.
