Gramercy Books

My favorite bookstore in the Columbus area (and possibly ever!). Great selection, amazing kids section, and kind booksellers with great taste. They also host some lovely events. Love this place!

The booksellers always give a friendly greeting whenever I walk through the door. During my first visit (months ago), Daniel walked me through some of his faves and recommendations based on what I was looking for. The books he suggested opened my eyes to different perspectives and voices within a genre I've been reading for decades. I will be forever grateful for that. So happy that I found Gramercy!

I had never heard of Gramercy before, so I didn’t have especially high hopes when walking into the bookstore. I was absolutely blown away, this place rocked my socks off. They have some REALLY cool stuff to read, a kids section, and cafe. There’s other trinkets and odds n ends, but ultimately, probably one of the best bookstores I’ve ever gone to.

I really liked their selection here. Cute environment, and I enjoyed how it was right next to the bakery as well. It made for a relaxing morning for me.

Indie bookstore owned by an author, what a lovely treat from the more corporate options! They sponsor many programs, including as a co-host for the recent lecture from Matthew Desmond (Evicted, Poverty, by America) at CCAD, and a collab with Thurber House. I love how involved they are with the community. The layout was cozy, the staff were lovely. There's an ajoining coffee shop called Kitties, who were also delightful. Really can't go wrong visiting Gramercy!

Very quaint and nice place to peruse. Staff hand writes their notes on their favorite books which makes it personable and they have a whole room dedicated for children with books, games and the like. Also close to Harvest and other restaurants so can hang out and shop while waiting for your table to be ready!

Love, love, love this bookstore. They curate an incredible selection for young readers. And I dare you to walk out without buying a book. Cheers to the booklovers that operate and staff this gem.

My new favorite bookstore! They carry a few classics along with the popular new releases. It's an independent store so don't expect unlimited options. Their spiritual section was splendid, with several books I didn't expect. The staff members are total book nerds and it's amazing! Their recommendations are stellar and insightful. Based on a few of the books I told them I had liked they were able to make fantastic recommendations. About a quarter of the shop is dedicated to random book related merchandise (book inspired soaps, socks, and knickknacks.) Definitely feminist and LGBTQA+ friendly.

What a delightful place, Gramercy Books, is! Fantastic selections, comfortable chairs, also markers for kids & adults painting Mandelas!

This is the most adorable place. I love them intensely. I was able to grab books for my for my mother for the upcoming Mother's Day weekend. 20% off discount that day so my girls were able to do some shopping. Spent less than $80 for 6 books!

Gramercy is a beautifully curated, cozy, wonderful place with great book recommendations all over the store. I always find great books from the suggestions on the shelf marked "Linda's All-Time Favorites." I love the small enclosed spaces perfect for lingering. The kids area is full of great finds and organized with kiddos in mind. Could spend hours here!

I received a gift card here, and my kids and I enjoyed choosing great books from the kid section. Great location, friendly staff, clean bathroom.

A great bookstore. My wife and I enjoyed an author's presentation where more than fifty people gathered to listen and ask questions. It was our first visit here and we found a great selection of new releases as well as many classics. I especially enjoyed checking out the puzzles they have for sale. The scented candle selections almost overwhelmed my senses but I got over it. We look forward to going back.

I love independent bookstores, and wish I had learned about this one much sooner than I did. But now that I have been there, I will be a regular (and have told everyone I know to go as well). This bookstore has beautiful books and a lovely selection of titles, authors, and gifts. I've found several good titles suggested by the employees, and also follow the store's events (they get some amazing authors!). I can't wait to go back.
