Kroger

It is a smaller store and caters to the lower income clientele of the near east side. It can get sketchy some evenings but the store has great deals on expensive food products. I enjoy shopping here.

I have never been in Kroger's a day in my life. I accidentally walked in one day and let me tell you I used to love Walmart but now if I could get married to Kroger's by golly I would. That place has every dagon thing good hot food good cold food one heck of a selection of soda a very good bakery with a with a wide selection of bakery items. I would rate them five stars with no problem whatsoever. The people that work there if you have a question for them they will actually take you to where that item is located as they did with me and show me exactly where it's at which I was astonished that that happened I thank the gentleman at least three times just for helping me. I was expecting him just to tell me all what's over and aisle five and that be the end of it instead he said I'll show you exactly where it's at and walked me over there and showed me exactly where the item was the cinnamon applesauce I was looking for to be exact. So for that I would say thank you Krogers for actually taking the time to help your customers.

The associates this week were very helpful. Offered assistance before I could even request which I appreciated. Especially, the security officer.

Only problem is that delivery drivers, chip isle, was rude n blocked the isle and was rude.

The store is clean yet crowded. Customers were rude and very unkind to each other. But the staff continued to be very nice and patient with the customers. They kept smiling, giving directions, helping them find things, and still smiling! That's good training!! I've worked in Customer Service all of my military life as well as part of my civilian life. It's a little different because the military can lock you up after court martial of course. In civilian life you may get a pat on the hand up to dismissal or financial ruin, depending on who you disrespected and how bad you pissed them off!!! But I have noticed that many larger companies are taking responsibility and training their young people better for these positions and their future. I commend those companies because people are taking notice. And they are talking about the "big improvement" it's made on customer relations. Keep up the good, no great, work. You are changing lives!!!

I haven't been to this location in several years. I love the changes and the clearance carts were to die for💞💞💞

I never thought I would see the day I would rate the Alum Creek Kroger with five stars. I always hated going into that location because there were never enough lines open and the store always smelled bad. To top it off, they were starting to remodel. I definitely steered clear. Today was my first day back there in a very long time. I was so surprised. The remodel is done. The store looks amazing. The stinky smell that store carried is gone. It was very clean. Lastly, the manager was actually out on the floor talking to the customers and answering questions. I asked the cashier what his name was and he told me Justin. You can definitely tell there's a difference. A change for the better.

Despite unkind reviews, the Main Street Kroger is ok. They do their best to help customers. I know there is a product inequity, but I actually feel at home here when I see the usual faces. I am thankful to have these people risking their health to help us. Happy Holidays 2020!

Very clean and organized, they have an excellent selection of foods. The produce is fresh. The staff is very friendly. This is a great neighborhood grocery store, if your looking for these things I've mentioned. I know i was. 👍

Very nice customer service, respectful and prompt. Only Kroger in Springfield that actually answers and responds to customers calls or inquiries. South Lime ignores and leaves you on hold. I would drive to this kroger over ther one that is a mile from home.KUDOS TO EAST MAIN KROGER AND THEIR EXCELLENCE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

A lot of times people are just trying to cut the corners and just get by. Tonight i had the oposite! A young gentleman named, Gregory(i think line 12) went above and beyond to not only call me through his line after he closed, but went above and beyond bagging those ahead of me. It seems like a temp job for him, but it was one of the best grocery experiences ive ever had

Bill in meats was VERY helpful and knowledgeable. While he was busy, he stopped and assisted me in finding the vegan/vegetarian sections on the store. He knew all of them and was also helpful in selecting items as he had tried a few. Thanks Bill in meats!

They have an amazing assortment of goods here. They manage to cater to multiple ethnic, religious, and socioeconomic groups in a single store. The store is always clean and well organized, with fully staffed check-out lanes.

I love this Kroger. They always have deals, and they carry niche items that are hard to find elsewhere in the city (i.e. Carribean food section, unpackaged various lettuce, etc.). They seemed to be rearranging things, so there were a lot of holes, but that isn't typical. Only complaint: improve your beer selection.

I love shopping at Kroger. Nice, clean stores, good selection of organic foods. Kroger can be a little higher on some items, but it's worth it. I never see the freakshow or poverty striken shoppers like at walmart.

I had some trouble looking for several items but the staff did a fantastic job in all areas of the store to make sure I found my items and was satisfied. I am very grateful to them for that! :)

Great customer service

This is my favorite Kroger store in my area. I go here at east once a week and they always have my favorites. I also have all of my prescriptions refilled automatically. I find everyone very friendly & helpful.
