This experience actually reminds me of Meow Wolf. We went to the one in Denver. They both have a lot of hidden rooms and areas that you can explore. Otherworld is cheaper and way less crowded. Admission is around $30 which is not bad. A little pricey for some. I enjoyed walking through the different areas of art because they’re all different. We spent about an hour and half. Employees were very nice and friendly. Only thing I didn’t like is that this place is isolated from everything else. It would be nice to have some restaurants or other stores next door that you can walk to.

We always have a blast when we come here. This place is just really cool. Definitely good for the family, date nights or even solos.

Truly a fun and amazing time, so many rooms and just got lost in everything. It's a fun fully interactive art park what more could you need. Go here with some friends and have a new experience and maybe even solve some puzzles . Safe, comfortable, inviting and friendly staff. Place was a great temp and was able to just enjoy my time with no worry.

I just visited Otherworld in Columbus, Ohio, and I have to say, it was an experience like no other! Describing Otherworld is a challenge, but imagine Alice's Wonderland meets a Lisa Frank fever dream – that's the best way I can put it! The maze of interconnected rooms and tunnels was endlessly intriguing, with something new to discover around every corner. The art and sculpture creations throughout the space are breathtaking and unexpected, engaging all the senses.

I highly recommend checking out Otherworld. Just be sure to book your time slot in advance – this place is in high demand for a reason!

This place is amazing! It's a seemingly endless adventure! A 3D art installation that you can walk through and touch! So much fun for all ages!

It was a fun and trippy mixed media experience. Couldn't really call it a museum or an art showcase, in a traditional sense, but it was a pretty fun time. My only complaint is that I didn't stay long enough! There were so many fun things to explore and interesting secrets and hidden passages to look through. I only stayed for about 45 minutes, but there's hours of entertainment to go searching for.

Absolutely gorgeous museum of the world and wonderful. Must see for anyone at any age . Secret passages and beautiful photo ops. Only showing 2 pictures because I want you all to see the rest. Currently adding more to the exhibit.

Incredibly immersive experience. I was non stop amazed by the creativity. Well worth the money for an hour or two.

Images cannot portray the experience.

Really enjoyed this place. So many interesting themed rooms and no real path to take. Just kinda roam around where you want. A lot of neat and different things appropriate for all ages. Staff were friendly, and if you want a challenge, they have a couple games where you collect clues to unlock things like you are Indiana Jones’s or something.

Such an interesting experience. There's so much creativity all bundled together. There are puzzles to solve, but it doesn't exactly come right out and tell you that they're puzzles. You really have to explore to find them. There's a lot touching to activate exhibits, but there's hand sanitizer stations everywhere. The exhibits may change from time to time, their Facebook page has information about it.

We went to otherworld for an edm show and it was such a great experience. Music played throughout all the rooms (not just at the main stage), plenty of places to sit, lots to look at. Felt like the perfect rave location, like an adult playground and art exhibit. Really impressed by the work that it took to make such a creative and unique space. Want to go again. Would be better if they had more water stations for shows. Definitely a random location, however there are are hotels within walking distance if you need. Lots of food nearby.

We have visited both Otherworld Philadelphia and Otherworld Columbus and they are both amazing. That staff at the Philadelphia one was great, especially Lanice in the gift shop. Everyone was friendly, it was clean and all the sanitizer stations were clearly kept full. 10/10 recommended if you’re looking for a unique date or outing with kids! Fun for all ages 😊.

I went to Otherworld with my girlfriend and her mother today, Wednesday December 20, at 10:30am. They had been there before, and I had not. The venue was almost entirely empty when we arrived, which was exactly what we were hoping, as Wednesday morning is supposed to be their least busy (or nearly least busy) time.

When we entered, we received wrist-bands and were told there were five "clues" of one type and six "clues" of the other. We found four of each and were able to solve both final puzzles over the course of three hours and fifteen minutes (including about 15 minutes in the gift shop).

I think spending more than about 3 hours would have been too much, but their estimated "1-3 hours" range seems a bit on the short side. I think most groups that are actually interested in the exhibit will take 2-4 hours. It would be difficult to solve the entire thing in under 2 hours, and it would be difficult to "see" the whole place in under about 90 minutes. That said, there's really not enough in there that you would want to spend more than about 4 hours, regardless of how your search/viewing experience is going, at least not with a nearly empty venue.

As a note, I think if the venue was at all crowded, it would have drastically taken away from the experience, and would have resulted in solving the puzzles taking more time. I went to Meow Wolf in Denver about a year and a half ago, and while it was not a busy time, it was not an empty time. That museum is about three times the size of Otherworld, and the crowd was annoying at times.

All in all, while I probably would not return (as I've solved the puzzles), I will continue to attend every museum of this type I encounter, and am very happy to have attended this one. I definitely HIGHLY recommend attending in the morning on a Wednesday or Thursday, and blocking out 4 or so hours to ensure you don't feel at all rushed. Bringing water and a snack would be recommended, though eating is only allowed outside the exhibit.

This is our second time going, and it was worth it both times. Very interactive and interesting. Even the bathrooms are creative. The kids (teens and middle school) loved it, too. Definitely recommend.

great time as always. the art is amazing the atmosphere is pleasant and easygoing and it's a great place to take kids. I wish they had an audio tour with information on the artists that worked so hard to create all the amazing rooms

Took my daughter for a fun activity before school started. Something very different for us to do. She’s interested in art so I thought she’d enjoy the experience of exploring at our own pace. Because it’s dark with unfamiliar scenes she was a little timid at first but really warmed up after about 15 minutes. Lots of black light so I recommend wearing a color that will easily get picked up! Took us about an hour and 20 min to see all we wanted to see and visit gift shop.

The place had way more to offer than i could've possibly imagined! The rooms were incredible, and i actually would get lost in the rooms. Just when i thought ive seen every room, i would find new rooms to go into. There are little hidden puzzles in different areas to try and solve. There were a few i wasn't able to figure out, but they were fun none the less. I ended up spending around 2 hours walking around in there.

This is a MUST do for a trip to Columbus. The photos don’t do it justice. I thought I would go for my granddaughter, but I absolutely love this place. Over 40 rooms, it’s like a maze. Each room has a theme, you can touch, open, spin, pull, push different thing. There’s sounds, music but nothing too loud or distracting. The light shows are so cool. There are tunnels and hidden doorways. I’d like to go back to do the game to uncover secret things. I see there’s one in Philadelphia, now I need to go there and see that one!

Our first clue about how interesting this place would be, was driving into an abandoned strip mall to get there. Definitely set the mood.
First off, this is not an inexpensive spot (I believe we paid $30 each). Combined with the experience itself, I wouldn't recommend this for anyone under 10.
That being said, it is a very interesting exhibit (I don't know any other word to use). It is interactive modern art at its best. There is also a puzzle to solve, but we found that to be more frustrating than fun. My advice is to go to simply enjoy the experience, without the headache of trying to solve the puzzle (we couldn't get it and left frustrated).
Words can't really describe it, but I highly recommend a visit if you are in the area and enjoy strange and unusual experiences.
