The Wine Shop At New Albany

Cute specialty wine shop located in the olde town section of New Albany. Stopped by during my surprise visit to see my nieces and decided to shop local. Ended up leaving with a few bottles of Pinot Noir.

The store has a cozy atmosphere but could use a bit of refining in their wine selection. They stocked some common brands like Josh and La Crema, which I feel could easily be found in any supermarket. I think it would benefit them to focus more on mid-range vintners like Four Graces or Goldeneye Anderson Valley instead of the typical $20 bottles.

The employee was friendly and welcoming, although she admitted to not having much knowledge about wine.

While I used to live in the area, I won't be able to make this shop a regular stop due to my nomadic lifestyle. However, I genuinely wish them the best and encourage others to buy local!

Great wine shop with a very helpful staff. My husband went in and they took the time to help him select several bottles.

Excellent shop with a lot of choices

Sign said open went in and looked around for 15 minutes and no one came out. I was interested in purchasing several bottles. Place is very cute but I won’t be back.
