Market District Supermarket

I love this Giant Eagle Market Place. The staff is great. They have great prices and items that aren’t in traditional Giant Eagles. One of my fave things from here are the baked goods (cookies and cream cupcakes). They also have my favorite lemonade Me and the Bees.

Happen to be going by so thought I would stop in and pick up a few items. Got what I wanted. Lots of choices, friendly staff and very clean. Nothing is more attractive in a grocery store than a clean well kept place to shop.

Giant Eagle is making all the right changes in all the right places! The cooking out over the long Memorial Day weekend was great! The young man who took the orders was wonderful! He added to the experience. Everyone wore gloves and smiled. I had run in to get something on Saturday and it was packed!

The upcoming car show with beer and wine tastings and the live jazz every 3rd Sat. & Sun. are really nice touches.

Their grocery pickup is already 100000 times better then Kroger’s, so this just adds the chef’s kiss.

Good job Giant Eagle for bringing the community together in a fun way and doing a great job at being the best local grocery store.

Now if you could just lower some of those prices a smidge, we’d be real good!😜

The produce is fantastic! However I can't deal with the self checkout. The bossy lady that tells you what to do such as "begin scanning" was enough to keep me from ever going back. You only about 3 seconds before the voice says "if you are finished, touch pay" I had 15 items and the voice told me to do that every single time because apparently I wasn't scanning fast enough. I found myself telling her to shut up 15 times. It was enough to make me scream!!!! There is no option to mute the bossy lady voice like there is at Walmart, Kroger and Meijer. This needs to change. When I asked a staff member if there was some way to mute because I couldn't take it anymore. She said "I have to listen to it all day long". Good grief! Seriously, this has to be changed. Next time I will go straight to customer service prior to shopping and see if they have fixed the bossy lady voice. Their was only one regular check out lane open and there were several people in line. I don't think I should be harassed by the bossy lady voice or force to stand in a long check out line.

I really enjoy going To this market. The shopping experience is very pleasurable and the selection is always top notch. Yesterday I bought a steak and when I cooked it there was a problem and when I address it today with the store manager he immediately refunded my money. It is nice dealing business with people who take care of you when there are problems and do not simply dismiss you. I will continue to be a loyal customer for years to come .

Smallest GE in C'Bus Metro Area, but organized and staff is generally helpful and friendly. The meat and pharmacy staff are squared away.

Great grocery story with a great licor store.

Market district catering dept is great I live on other side of town there is a giant eagle close to me but the person in charge of catering I am sorry I can't remember her name but she has nice the first time I ordered I went back again very friendly, smiles very nice I wanted to tip her she said she couldn't take tips I wish she could

I have for the past 18 years ordered Thanksgiving dinner from the big red restaurant with the front porch and was mostly satisfied. This year, Nov. 2021 I decided to try Giant Eagles Market District in New Albany, OH for a change.

Holy cow! What a great decision. The food, portions, service and price was most excellent. Without a doubt the best Thanksgiving feast ever. All of the items were packaged in containers that could be either heated in the oven or microwave.

Anyone who has ever ordered a large meal to go knows if you microwave each item at a time, by the time you're finished the first several items are already cold. So if you could put them all in the oven at the same time, all items hot and ready to serve at the SAME TIME!

Advantage Market District. Taste, while Bob's was good Market District's was great.

Ok, enough for now, you get the point...best easiest Thanksgiving dinner ever.

Clean, and organized well. Great produce, unlike Stelzer Rd Giant Eagle which is very unkept and poorly stocked, and I believe it is because of the neighborhood location.

I ordered food for a bridal shower and she went above and beyond which is not the norm these days! Thank you Maryann, Giant Eagle is blessed to have you!!!!!

Have you ever pushed something, and thought to yourself, an angel would push this. A litteral celestial, cosmic being would deem this object worthy of pushing. This was my experience. The carts at Giant Eagle were by far the most tactically pleasing I have ever experienced in the 33 years of my existence. These carts were so pleasant to push. I didn't want to leave the store.
I seriously could care less about the rest of the store experience, because my god, these carts were great. Please come to this Giant Eagle and EXPERIENCE these carts for yourself. GAME CHANGER.

I absolutely love Giant Eagle supermarkets. The newer stores have a great layout and an inviting feel. Awesome selection of craft beer and higher quality wine. Great salad bars and even a cafeteria style eatery with large seating area too. Customer service is very friendly. Stores were always clean, well maintained and organized. Just wish they would come to Texas!

Tom in the meat department was very helpful!! He broke down a pallet just to accommodate my needs…Also informed me of the deal they had for the item!!! Great experience…(:

My youngest son loves this cranberry casserole that I only make on Christmas just for him. I had been to several stores looking for cranberries and couldn’t find them. I went to the GE Market District in New Albany and looked around and couldn’t find them. I asked Dawn and Ricky who were working the produce section and Dawn was willing to go in the back and look for a bag. She was able to find it and she saved Christmas for my youngest. Thank you for all you do and going above and beyond.

Great customer service, have really stepped up during this pandemic, and are following the right precautions! The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Jason in the liquor store department has always gone above and beyond to help any way he can. This has slowly become my number one option for groceries or anything I need!

The staff went above and beyond when I was having issues with my DoorDash app… everyone chipped in to figure the problem out (doordash problem, not the stores) and it worked out great!! Everyone was happy in the end:) Thx for being so helpful you guys❤
